OTHER:The Timmins Horticultural Society , in conjunction with Seeds of Diversity Canada, is hosting Seedy Saturday at the Schumach-er Lions Den on April 2nd from 10 am until 3 pm. The purpose of this day is to inform others about bettering the local gardening community through the saving and planting of heritage seeds. There will be seeds for sale and the public is invited to bring their seeds for exchange. Two representatives from Seeds of Diversity Canada will be in attendance and local guest speakers like John Caron (Hawk Feather Farm) and Rosalia Rivera (Naturally Pure Farm) will make presentations in the after-noon. Admission is free and everyone is invited.

Our online magazine will now be published in limited edi-tion hard copy as well as online and will be available bi-yearly. Our first publication is due out July 1st. We’ll keep you posted if you’d like to reserve a copy.

Taste Of Timmins is looking for volunteers. Are you interested in all that we do and want to help spread the word? We can use your help at our upcoming events! Contact us.
