Ronald McDonald House CharitiesGrissom is once again collecting pop tabs to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities! The pop tabs are recycled and sold for scrap metal. Last year, Ronald McDonald House
Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana raised more than
$40,000 from this program. A collection box will be in the Commons
for your donations!

Soccer Parent MeetingThere will be a

Jazz BandThe District 140 Jazz Bands will
perform live in concert tonight at 7:00 at Andrew High School.
Hot LunchTomorrow is Hot Lunch! Please
remember to thank the parents serving you. Without them, there would be no
Hot Lunch program.
Zumba Club
Zumba Club will meet Thursday, March 22nd in
the Fitness Room. Be sure to wear comfortable
clothing and gym shoes and bring a water bottle!
Track TryoutsTryouts for Track will be on
Tuesday, March 20th and Wednesday, March 21st from 3:15-4:30 pm for all runners. Shot put
tryouts will be held the week after Spring Break on Thursday, April 5th.
Permission forms are in the rack outside the Main Office. See Mr.
Rumbaugh, Mrs. Ryan, Ms. Jordan or Ms. Senkpeil if you have any
questions.

Crayola ColorCycleStudents and teachers will soon be collecting used
markers (any brand!) to be converted into clean fuel. This fuel can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook
meals and more! Boxes will be located in the Commons. The Crayola ColorCycle program can keep tons of plastic
out of landfills each year! Remember, don’t throw out that used marker – ColorCycle it!

Student ID’s When attending after-school activities such as games and dances, you
must have your Grissom ID with you! You will not be admitted without it!

Student SupportBefore and after school
Student Support is offered from 8:00-8:35 am each
morning, and from 3:10-4:05 pm Monday through Thursday.
You must arrive at the beginning of the session and
stay for the whole time!

Water Bottle Filling Station Challenge
Last year Grissom Patriots saved over 6,600 plastic water bottles from ending up in landfills by using the
water bottle filling stations throughout the building. Please
remember to use these instead of plastic bottles. So far this year, we’ve
saved 7,615 bottles from landfills!
