Jesus in Disguise - CRS Collection Next week, our parish will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. This collection helps provide food to the hungry, support to displaced refugees, and Christ’s love and respect to all people here at home and abroad. There are few events that are more exciting than opening a new church. For a pastor, it is like buying a new house. For me it is like building a new custom 25,000 square foot house.

This construction project is coming to an end and we are announcing the new mass schedule for St. Juan Diego and a change for St. Mary’s. Our new schedule for St Juan Diego Church beginning Sunday May 7th will be:

Natural Family Planning Teachers Needed Training by Diocese of Phoenix Do you use Natural Family Planning in your marriage? We need more trained NFP instructors because of the great numbers of couples, engaged and already married, who want to use natural methods to plan their families. Would you prayerfully consider answering the Bishop’s call and train to become a certified Sympto-Thermal NFP instructor? Instructor training will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, beginning March 21. We cover the entire cost of the instruction as long as you agree to teach as a volunteer for Phoenix NFP Center. Fast & Abstinence Guidelines • Adult Catholics age 18 through 59 are required to fast unless prohibited by medical or physical reasons. Fasting is consuming no more than one meal per day, along with two smaller meals which, when combined, are not larger than the main meal.

• Catholics age 14 and up are to abstain from meat on days of abstinence. Food is considered meat if it comes from an animal that walks on land, including mammals and fowl. Crab is not meat.

Hay pocos eventos que son más emocionantes que abrir una nueva Iglesia. Para un pastor es como comprar una

casa nueva. Para mí es como construir una nueva casa personalizada de 25.000 pies cuadrados. Este proyecto de construcción está llegando a su fin y estamos anunciando el nuevo horario de misas para La Parroquia de San Juan Diego y un cambio para La Parroquia de Santa Maria. Nuestro nuevo horario para la Iglesia de San Juan Diego a partir del domingo 7 de mayo, 2017 será:
