ADORATION CHAPEL

ADORERS URGENTLY NEEDED TO FILL

5 VACANT HOURS

It is impossible in human terms to exaggerate the importance of being in adoration before the Eucharist as often and for as long as our duties and state of life allow. (Fr. John Hardon)

Please consider becoming a Committed Adorer, even temporarily, or as a substitute, and sign your name on the master schedule for any hour that you can commit to or call the parish office: 403-252-1137.

Please note that we will not be accepting new prayer requests for the 7 day candles until further notice to ensure that our current prayer requests are met.

Once again TIA offers us the opportunity to provide

vital financial support to those who live in poverty,

underemployment or unstable housing. Working

together this generosity increases exponentially the

substantive difference we can make in people’s lives

locally, nationally, and internationally. St. Anthony’s

share of the 2019 - $2 million campaign is set at

$44,787. Any surplus over this amount has been

designated towards the construction of a new

Adoration Chapel.

FR. JACK’S CHUCKLE

Recently a teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer wound up together at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question. To the teacher St. Peter asked,” What was the name of the ship that crashed into the iceberg? They just made a movie about it.” He answered quickly, “Titanic.” St. Peter let him in the gate. To the garbage collector, figuring Heaven didn’t REALLY need the odors that his guy would bring, made the question a little harder. "How many people died?” “About 1500.” “That’s right! You may enter.” St. Peter then turned to the lawyer. “Name them.”

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL

Our Perpetual Adoration Chapel, open 24 hours a day since its establishment in August 2003, has been a

source of grace and spiritual growth for our Church and the world. Consider becoming a Committed Adorer

and/or substitute Adorer. Devote an hour each week before the Most Blessed Sacrament, experience His

abundant blessings and participate in His Salvation plan. To make a commitment please call the parish office at

403-252-1137 or simply mark the vacant space on the master schedule located by the front door of the chapel or the

breezeway with your full name and phone number. Our goal is to have two committed adorers for each hour.

Committed Adorers are required for:

Sunday 6PM – 7PM

Tuesday 3AM – 4AM

Wednesday Midnight–1AM

Friday 3AM – 4AM and 11pm – 12pm
