Chatanooga Choo Choo Full Itinerary:

Day 1: Travel day, with fun and games en route. We’ll spend our first night in the Atlanta area.

Day 2: After Breakfast in the hotel we’ll visit the World of Coca Cola. Here you can taste more than 100 beverages from around the world. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Coca Cola, learn of the myths and legends in the Vault of the Secret Formula, journey around the world through a 4-D movie experience, and get an inside look at the bottling pro-cess. After our tour we continue on to Chattanooga: we’ll check into our hotel before heading out for group Dinner.

Day 3: Breakfast in the hotel before departing for Blue Ridge, GA to enjoy a ride on the Blue Ridge Railway . . . a 26 mile round trip through historic Murphy Junction along the beautiful Toccoa River in the North Georgia Mountains. A layover for lunch on your own is in the sister towns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN. After our ride we’ll return to Chattanooga to prepare for a great Dinner with beautiful scenery aboard the Southern Belle Riverboat.

Day 4: After a delicious Breakfast, we’re off on a great adventure aboard the Missionary Ridge Local which is part of the Tennessee Valley Railroad for an hour-long ride which passes through a horseshoe tunnel. After lunch on your own we depart for Rock City Gardens and the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway where trolley cars takes up to Lookout Mountain, “cloud high” on the steepest passenger railway in America. Since 1929 “See Rock City” has dotted the barn roofs along American’s highways. From the Seven State Flag Court to the Swinging Bridge, Lover’s Leap and Fat Man’s Squeeze . . . a stroll through Rock City is Old-Fashioned Fun ! Next, inside Lookout Mountain you will enjoy a visit to thundering Ruby Falls: at 145 feet, it is the world’s tallest underground waterfall. Dinner is included tonight. (Pack an overnight bag for tomorrow night)

Day 5: Another delicious Breakfast before heading out for the Atlanta area for a visit to Stone Mountain Park where your All-Attractions Pass will admit you to the Summit Skyride, Scenic Railroad, 4-D Theater, Historic Square & Farmyard, and Discovering Stone Mountain Museum. Late in the afternoon we’ll continue on to our hotel to relax and have dinner on your own.

Day 6: Following Breakfast we’ll check out and depart with fond memories of our Chattanooga Choo Choo adventure.

Please limit your luggage to one bag per person for under the coach and one carry on. Please use the Goodtime Getaways luggage tags provided - two tags per person - one for your under the coach bag and one for your carry on bag. Walkers will be stored in the luggage compartment.

Snacks and beverages are permitted but please be sure to have a tight cover on all beverages to prevent spillage. We’ll be using our brand new coach and will appreciate your helping us keep it beautiful.

The coach is equipped with a bathroom. Out of consideration for other passengers we ask that you use it only for emergencies. We will be mak-ing frequent rest stops so you can use land based facilities. If you have an emergency situation you may ask the escort to stop, or for discretion, you may call her cell phone and request a stop at the earliest oportunity.



It is difficult to maintain a temperature that is comfortable for everyone. If you tend to be cold, please bring a sweater or light jacket and even a lap robe for your comfort during the ride.

The coach is equipped with a DVD player. If you have a movie DVD or music CD you think the rest of the group would enjoy, please bring it.

The weather is always unpredictable. We suggest that you layer your clothing in order to adapt to any unexpected weather changes.

Medical Forms will be sent to you along with your luggage tags. Please complete the form, place it in a sealed en-velope or tape it closed, write your name on the outside, and give it to the escort on the day of departure. Medical forms will be opened only in event of a medical emergency.

Gratuities are included for all meals, with the exception of buffet meals. Gratuities for the motor coach operator are not included. Your driver keeps our coach clean and tidy, loads and unloads your luggage at each location, assists while boarding and unboarding the coach, and of course, drives with care and caution thoughout the trip. The suggested gratuity is $3.00 per person, per day, but of course it is always at your discretion, based upon the type of service you feel you receive.
