As students of Beaver High School,

we ask ourselves many questions everyday.

However, do we ever answer our questions

or do we leave them unanswered? What’s

the deal with it snowing in March? What’s

the deal with the new President? What’s the

deal with the airplane food? What’s the deal

with school lunch only being 30 minutes?

What’s the deal with one week internet sen-

sations? What’s the deal with only two day

March is between spring and winter when the

weather is still cold. However, that doesn’t stop Ameri-

cans from celebrating cool holidays. Many don’t know

about these different holidays that are celebrated every

day. Coming together with friends and family to celebrate

the unique holidays is a great way to spend this green,

colorful month. Spring is almost here, and watching the

beautiful flowers blossom is a wonderful transformation.

In Math, Pi is the mathematical constant, and the number

is 3.14 (and so on), and this is why it is celebrated on the

third month on the fourteenth day. Whether a holiday is to

celebrate food, an object, or a person, planning fun ways

to spend the day with people makes time fly.

By: Kole Robinson

Recently the weather has been a little bit tempera-

mental. One day it will be sunny and 75, and the next it

will be snowing and blowing houses around. Since the

dawn of time, people have been wondering when Mother

Nature is going to make up her mind and stick to the ste-

reotypical weather patterns. All we want as a human race

is to know this answer. I, as a victim of this inexcusable

crime, set out to find the answer to the age-old question.

First, as any good researcher would start, I ran a Twitter

poll. The feedback was great in number but lacked in

credibility. I next went to the source itself. I found Moth-

er Nature and asked her why she was doing this to inno-

cent people. She simply replied, “I have a little bit of a

problem with being bipolar.” So the answer to the age-old

question came out. People have been wondering for

thousands of years why the weather was how it was.

Mother Nature has been doing this thing when she

changes the weather so drastically that we are just so

confused because she has a mental disorder. This is not

on purpose, people: she has been struggling for millenni-

ums with a problem that many Americans struggle with

today. Don’t blame her for the weather changes, blame

science. My question for you, Beaver High School, is

“What do you think of these super dramatic weather

changes?”

Ted Kanell: “I feel like I am having hot flashes.”

Dillon Smith: “ On a very cold night, even houses want

houses of their own.”

Chandler Washburn: “It’s pretty rough: I don’t like it.”

Treyden Young: “ It’s Cool.”

Rhett Jordan: ”It’s nice to have warm weather, but sucks

when it is cold because it is hard on the animals.”

On February 18, 2017, the Beavers had their first

game of the playoffs at Orem High School against the

Summit Academy Bears. The Beavers played well being

the 4th seed, but the Bears got the best of the Beavers

defeating them 45-36. Leading scorers were Davis Hes-

lington and Kazen Roundy who both had 12 points. The

Beavers had a good year finishing the season 10-10.
