"We are true Marauders for Life and love our alma mater andmemories of dating at the Ville and coming back regularlyfrom Pittsburgh in the 13+ years since we graduated. Backin 2001 I played Usher's "U Got It Bad" song to let Erinknow that I liked her. We were friends from campusorganizations like Student Senate before that and somehowplaying this worked. it only took "a little while" for Erin torealize she felt the same way :) We started dating onJanuary 14, 2002 and have been happy ever since."

"Billy is honestly my best friend and we have so many greatmemories in our relationship, many that were made atMillersville. Some of those memories include, homecomingactivities, dances, bus trips, UAB events, eating at theGalley (our favorite spot), intramurals, church at UCF, Biblestudies, first Friday's in Lancaster, Park City mall trips, andmuch more! With all our busy schedules between his Historydegree and my teaching degree, we always made timetogether enjoying our beautiful campus. Millersville was theonly college I applied to and looking back on that I know itwas more than just for my degree, it was to find my truelove."
"Mike and I met outside of my Brookwood apartment in October of 2010,and have been together ever since. He proposed in December of 2014,and we are getting married on April 30th in Walt Disney World a placevery near and dear to our hearts. We both worked in Disney for a fewyears after I graduated from MU in 2011! My maid of honor, Cara Phelan'11, is a Millersville Alum, as is one of Mike's groomsmen, Ramie Millar'11."

Alumni Spotlight
Cara Clase '15 recently won first place in the Kennedy Center AmericanCollege Theater Festival (KCATCF) Region II and will be representing MU atthe national festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on April 1116. At Millersville, Clase was an economics major and mathematics minor.She is currently employed by the United Way of Lancaster County where sheis assisting underprivileged individuals by filing taxes. She wants to earn herdoctorate in economics, conduct research and eventually teach.
Paul MacNamara '84, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Lt. Colonel,swam in the 24 hour Gold Star Teen Adventure Freedom Challenge inNovember 2015. He and his team swam 55 miles total over the 24 hourperiod and raised $60,000 that will go to providing outdoor campexperiences for children of fallen Special Operations soldiers. Paul is amember of Sigma Tau Gamma.
Janet Standeven '85 of Lambert High School in Suwanee, Georgia has beenselected as the 2016 Georgia Bio Biotechnology Teacher of the Year. Shehas 19 years of teaching experience, 14 of which are in Georgia. Sheserves on the high school advisory committee for the iGEM foundation. Inthis role she promotes the field of synthetic biology, serves as a mentor forother teachers and is piloting an online platform for collaborationbetween researchers, high schools and community labs.
