Kishor’s Top 10 Spring Cleaning Jobs

1 To begin, Kishor always sug-

and working from top to bottom and

left to right. This helps one keep

on task.

2 Remove items to be taken to

dry cleaning or washed, such

as drapes and decorative bedding.

Many draperies and curtains are

machine washable, but check labels

4 Wipe down walls and ceil-

off . However, if you have really

stubborn surface grime, especially

prevalent in kitchens, tackle it with

a solvent-free degreaser (test it fi rst

stered and leather furniture to

bring a new life and longevity.

6 Clean and treat wood furniture

to bring it back to its original

and rugs with waterproof backings

can be deep-cleaned with a rotary

shampoo machine and a hot-water

extraction machine. However, rugs

without backings, such as those

expensive oriental rugs, require

Over the past few years, more and

more people want to live in Langley

because of its urban sophistication

and rural, idyllic countryside. They

are also attracted to Langley’s lower

housing costs which are, on average,

57 per cent less than in the city of

Vancouver.

Newmark Group, a highly respect-

ed residential property developer

with more than three decades of

experience, is set to unveil its newest

condominium project – Murrayville

House – right in the heart of this in-

demand location.

A boutique-style property off er-

ing a collection of 92 residences,

Murrayville House features one and

two bedroom homes, many with

dens, ranging from 675 to 1,300

square feet. The four-storey condo-

minium off ers exceptional contem-

porary living with country fl air, in an

established and popular community.

This historic neighbourhood is

within easy walking distance to great

shopping, dining and a fabulous mix

of amenities, including a coff ee shop,

the Farmers’ Market, several restau-

rants and the new Langley Events

Centre.

For the outdoor enthusiast,

Murrayville House is also close to

spectacular parklands, fi ve golf

courses and W.C. Blair Recreation

Centre, Langley Ice Sports Twin

Rinks and McLeod Athletic Park, to

name a few.

“We knew that Murrayville House

would be of interest to a buyer who

wants quality, style and a great

community,” says Vince Pontaletta,

Director of Sales for the property.

“Potential buyers are very proactive

about this property – they know that

this is the community they want to be

in and that Murrayville House is the

place that they want to call home.”

Wright explains that this property

off ers the elements that smart home-

buyers want – great location, quality

and style in an established commu-

nity that only becomes more charm-

ing as the years go by. She adds:

“It isn’t often that you get all three

of these elements in one property.

That’s what is causing so much inter-

est in these fabulous homes.”

A deal of attention to detail went

into these single level s u i t e s

– from the over-

sized private balconies and patios

to the gorgeous, quality fl ooring

throughout the entry, kitchen, dining

and living areas to the modern nylon

carpeting in the bedrooms.

The gourmet kitchens will show-

case sleek stainless steel appliances,

solid quartz countertops, shaker-

style cabinetry, porcelain or marble

backsplash tile, as well as an accent

open shelf on the island. After a

busy day, Murrayville House home-

owners will be able to unwind in

the lush landscaped setting with its

serene seating areas, private walk-

ways and a central courtyard with a

water fountain – perfect for relaxing

with a good read or enjoying a cup of

coff ee with friends. There will also be

a large amenities room with a fully

equipped kitchen, outdoor patio,

fi tness facility and children’s play-

ground. This attention to detail and

understanding of lifestyle means that

both indoors and out, Murrayville

House will off er residents a true com-

munity to come home to. Prices for

the nicely appointed new residences,

with timeless beauty and lush green-

ery right outside your doorstep,

start in the low $200,000 range – a

great value for a home in the Lower

Mainland. The Murrayville House

presentation centre, located at 220-

230 22196 50th Avenue in Langley,

is expected to open on March 28st

and be available for viewings daily

from noon to 5 p.m.
