The version of the problem for students is likely to have them place the cards in the correct positions and try out the trick themselves.
Arrange the cards in this way. 1 is 4th from the left. 2 is 3rd from the right.3 is 5th card from the left and 6th card from the right.4 is the 1st card from the left and 7 is the 1st card from the right.The 2nd card from the left is 9. The 2nd card from the right is 5.6 is the 6th card from the left.8 is between 2 and 6. Which card is it?How about 10?
