Congratulations on purchasing this professional color camera. Before operating your Video Security System please read all the safety and operating instructions completely, and retain for future reference. To prevent electric shock and risk of fir hazards, Do NOT use power sources other than those specified. Never keep the camera face to strong light directly. It can damage the CCD. Do not drop the camera or subject them to physical shocks. It can cause malfunctions to occur. For best results, the installation should be made by a qualified technician. Modification of internal components may void the warranty.

Do not place the camera or its AC cord within reach of a child. Unplug the AC power from the wall outlets when the system is not in use. Plug into an electrical outlet with standard 110V household voltage Do not install the camera in extreme temperature conditions. To prevent overheating, keep the camera away from heat sources, such as

radiator, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances which produce heat. Use only the cables provided. Use of any others may damage the camera and void the warranty.

This video surveillance system will give you added security and comfort for many years. It is easy to install in almost anywhere you need video surveillance. Please read the installation and operating instruction in this manual, and keep it for future reference. FEATURES

DNR(Digital Noise Reduction)

By using the DSP chip applied to the DNR technology, the amount of low luminance noise has been reduced significantly and the signal-to-noise ratio as well as horizontal resolution has been improved. Therefore, you can get clear and sharp image display even in the subdued light.

Horizontal Resolution 530TV Lines Clear image quality has been achieved by employing a 1/3" SONY Super HAD CCD with 410,000 pixel (NTSC), 470,000 pixel (PAL), which provides a horizontal resolution of 530 TV lines.

Day & Night (Electronic changeable method) This camera has a auto function that electronically selects the mode that is appropriate for daytime or night-time condition. The COLOR mode operates in daytime condition to provide optimum colors, and BW mode operates

(A) Scroll up/down the functions by pressing the / button repeatedly (B) As you scroll down the function, the selected function will be highlighted by finger-sign (C) When the desired function is selected, press the & to adjust the value of the function

If nothing is selected for 20 seconds, it will automatically exit the menu mode or you can select Exit at the bottom of the menu mode and press the MENU button to exit the menu mode

Press the SET button to access the SETUP mode. The SETUP menu is displayed on the monitor screen.

Select the desired feature using the UP or DOWN button By pressing the UP or DOWN button.

Move the arrow indicator to the desired item. Change the status of the selected feature

using the LEFT or RIGHT button. If you press RIGHT or LEFT button,

it appears available status. Press the button when gets desired feature.

When completed, move the arrow indicator to ‘EXIT’ and press the SET button. Note

Setting up the LENS -- Select the lens by pressing the RIGHT button. On the SETUP menu screen, move the arrow indicator to the lens using the UP or DOWN button. Select the desired feature using the LEFT or RIGHT button.

Don’t make the camera exposed fluorescent lamp directly not to get unstable image in the internal synchronization modes. When the SHUTTER menu is set to FLK mode, SENS-UP can not work. Please control the menu.

. ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance) When color temperature is 2400~12000K, (ex. A fluorescent lamp, outdoor) Select this mode. AWC (Auto White Balance Control) The white balance is automatically adjusted in a specific environment. In order to obtain the best result, press the set button while the camera focuses on white paper. If the environment including the light source is changed, you have to adjust the white balance again.

illumination.

Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) SENSE-UP DNR is to reduce the digital noise on the screen. SPECIAL Press the SET button to display the SETUP menu and move the arrow indicator to ‘SPECIAL’. Move the arrow indicator to ‘CAMERA ID’ and set ‘ON’ using the LEFT or RIGHT button.

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS & OPERATION-CAMERA ID

Afterimage may appear with DNR. If you change the ‘GAIN’ menu from AGC-L to AGC-H, sensitivity is increased as well as noise on the screen. When selected ‘GAIN’ menu OFF, DNR will not work.

If you control the low-light action maximum magnifications.(X2~X128), You can get the brighter screen as well as the afterimage. When increase the magnifications, it may appear noise, spots and whitish. This is not out of order.

Press SET button to access the SETUP mode and you can enter up to 15 characters. a. Move the cursor to character-enter location and select the desired character. b. Press SET button to confirm the blinking character. The first character is saved and the cursor moved to the next position. Repeat steps of a and b until you create the full name you want. c. Select the position at which the CAMERA ID will b located on the screen. - Move the cursor to ‘POS’ and press SET button to select the position. - Press the SET button to confirm the position. d. When completed, move the cursor to ‘END’ and press SET button

COLOR. SYNC. You can choose color and B/W mode electronically. Two SYNCHRONIZATION modes are available, Press the SET button to display the setup menu INTERNAL and EXTERNAL LINE-LOCK.

If the CAMERA ID feature is set to ‘OFF’, the name will not displayed in the monitor.

If you make a mistake while entering name, move the cursor to ‘CLR’ and press ‘SET’ button. After erasing the character from right to left, correct the character again.

ON : color mode OFF : B/W mode Press the SET button to display the setup AUTO : Color mode --> B/W mode in low light. menu and move the arrow indicator to ‘SYNC’. SET to the desired mode.

INT : Internal synchronization L/L : If you choose ‘L/L’, you can adjust the desired phase. - Press the SET button. - You can adjust the phase from 0 to 270.

Whenever your camera detects motion of objects being displayed ‘MOTION DETECTED’ with the number Count will appear on the screen.

OSD Key may not work for 3 seconds for the stable when COLOR/BW mode is changed. If you see the screen under the infrared light, you can get out of focus.

When it used in AC power, L/L mode can be used. In DC12V, the SYNC menu sets ‘INT’ mode.

OFF : Deactivation ON : SHARPNESS control mode (level 0~31) Increasing the sharpness can make image clearer. Please do not increase the level too much as you could get the an unnatural image with digital noise.

RESET : To reset your camera to FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING.

Before calling for service, check the chart. If the guidelines do not enable you to solve the problem, contact an authorized technician.

Symptom Solution

No Picture

Check that the AC cord is correctly connected Check that the AC socket is live by plugging in another piece of equipment Ensure that the camera cables are properly connected Check that the connector is not bent or the pins bent Check that the video cable is connection between camera

and monitor properly. The image on the screen Is too dim.

Is lens stained with dirt? Clean your lens with soft, clean cloth. If the camera is exposed to too strong light change the camera position. Adjust the lens’ focus properly.

The image on the screen is too dark.

Adjust the contrast feature of the monitor. If you have an intermediate device, set the 75Ω/Hi-z properly.

The camera is not working properly or the picture is unstable.

Check that you have properly connected the camera to an appropriate power source

Cable should be securely attached to the camera Press the power switch ON or OFF

MOTION DETECTION function is not active.

Have you set ‘MOTION DET.’ menu to off? Have you set ‘MD LEVEL’ to too low ? Have you set ‘MD AREA’ properly

Symptom Solution

The color of the picture is not correct.

Check that you have properly set the ‘WHITE BAL’ feature

The image on the screen flickers.

Is the camera facing into direct sunlight or fluorescent lighting? Change the camera position.

L/L mode can not be selected.

Have you connected your camera to DC power source? Never connect it to AC power source directly.

Bouncing or wavy picture on the monitor

Move any electrical devices that may be causing the electrical interference away from the monitor

See this manual for FCC information Unshielded audio speakers placed next to the monitor can cause picture

distortion. If applicable, move the speakers away from the monitor

This warranty gives the original purchaser specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. If our products do not function because of any defect in material or workmanship, we will repair free for 2 year on parts and labor from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover modification, abuse, incidental or consequential damages unless the state of owner’s residence specially prohibits limitations on incidental or consequential damages.

HOW TO OBTAIN FACTORY SERVICE 1. Original purchaser must fill out a warranty card and mail to factory with model number, serial number and the

date of purchase. 2. We will repair or replace the item and return to owner under this limited warranty. 3. Please pack the system carefully and securely using the original packing materials, and send it prepaid and

insured to the factory. 4. Please include a check for US$20.00 to cover the cost of return postage and handling. If the system is returned

within the warranty period, please include a proof of purchase. If the system is out of warranty, you will receive an estimate of the repair cost for your approval before repair work will be started.
