Press the start/reset key for at least 2 seconds to boot up the meter. And enter to the main menu.

Press left and right keys to move the cursor to ‘Cali’ and press enter to go to interface of Calibration.

Put on the calibrator and turn it on.Notes: keep the meter and calibrator connected tightly and solidly.

Press left and right to move the curser to ‘CALI’, and press enter to start calibrating.

In processing of calibration, the upright corner will shows the # 1-9. (Which means the calibration takes 9 seconds totally.)

When the digit becomes 9, means the calibration is completed。

Notes: the LC value should be around 93.8 ±0.2dB. Otherwise, redo the calibration.

After finishing calibration, move cursor to ‘USE ’, press enter to save the setup.

Over 3dB difference …

1) The screen inside the microphone is broken. In this case, the instrument should be sent back to the manufactory to get repaired.

2) Check whether or not the calibrator work normally.

When the Sensiti and Lpx have over 3dB difference， the new calibration setting won’t be saved. Then please follow the steps to resolve the problem.

3). We recommend to replace the microphone when you found the Lpx is smaller than sensiti too much. Though, when you are in emergency case, you can try manually adjust the sensitive of microphone. First of all, record down the Lpx value.

Press Reset to reset the meter first, then come back to the calibration interface again. Move the cursor to ‘MODI’, press enter. Then use left/right keys to move cursor to ‘Sensiti’ and use up/down keys to adjust the sensitivity to equal the Lpx value that you have recorded down earlier..
