The Samsung CLP-600 was introduced inspring of 2006. The Samsung CLP-600/650 is a follow-on product tothe Samsung CLP-500/550/510.

The printer prints up to 21 ppm with a firstpage out in less than 20 seconds. Thecartridge is an all-in-one design rated at4000 pages for black and all colors.

Step 2Locate the cartridge pins with the threadedholes. Screw into the threaded holes thethumb screws or comparable screw with aM3 X 0.5 thread and at least 8mm in length.Remove the pins and separate the cartridge.(See Photos 4, 5 & 6)

Step 8Clean wiper blade with a soft, dry cloth ordry, compressed air. Apply padding pow-der DRUMPOWDERCPT to the bladeedge and reinstall wiper blade.(See Photos 13 & 14)

Step 9Clean PCR saddle blocks and PCR con-tact with cotton swab and AnhydrousIsopropyl Alcohol. Clean PCR using a dry,soft, lint-free cloth.NOTE: If needed, deionized water can beused to clean the PCR.(See Photos 15 & 16)

Step 7Remove the screws to the wiper bladeand remove wiper blade. Clean wastetoner area using a vacuum or dry,compressed air.(See Photo 12)

Step 5Remove the drum axle pushing the axialtowards the gear side of the drum.Remove the drum and set aside in a light-protected area.(See Photo 10)

Step 6Remove PCR from saddle blocks. Set PCR aside. (See Photo 11)

Step 3After separating the cartridge,put aside the toner unit. (See Photo 7)

Step 4Position the waste unit with thedrum closest to you. Removethe two E clips on each end ofthe drum axle.(See Photos 8 & 9)

Step 10Apply conductive grease to the PCR con-tact. Install PCR into saddle blocks.(See Photos 17 & 18)

Step 11Clean drum using soft, dry cloth. Applypadding powder DRUMPOWDERCPT tothe drum. (See Photos 19 & 20)

Step 12Position drum in the waste unit. Insertrounded end of drum axle into the non-gear side of the drum. Spin axle and becareful not to damage the drum contacts.Install E clips onto drum axle.(See Photos 21 & 22)

Step 13Set aside the waste unit. Protect the drumfrom light exposure.

Step 15Remove the two screws holdingthe drive gear cover. Removedrive gear cover. Remove thefour lower gears. Remove screwfor gear assembly. Remove gearassembly.(Sees Photos 25, 26 & 27)

Step 14Starting on the toner unit, remove the twoscrews holding the contacts cover.Remove the left side developer roller endcap by separating end cap from cartridgeusing a flat screwdriver.(See Photos 23 & 24)

Step 21Clean the contacts in the contact cover.Apply contact grease to the developerroller and supply roller contacts. Reinstallcover using the two screws.(See Photos 37, 38 & 39)

Step 22Remove fill plug, fill with toner, andreplace fill plug. Check for leaks. (See Photos 40 & 41)

Step 23Returning to the waste unit, locate thechip mounted in the back of the cartridge.To remove the chip, gently push the chipout of the holding area while lifting theplastic bar. Replace OEM chip with after-market chip. (See Photo 42)

Step 24Place the toner and waste unitstogether and install cartridgepins. The long pin goes to thegear side and the short pin isused in the contact side.Remove thumb screws from thecartridge pins. Install drum axlespring.(Sees Photos 43 & 44)
