 New Mexico 1945.

The test goes off perfectly, luckily. One little miscalculation could have caused amajor problem that could of killed, or in some way harmed people. The explosion was

captured above. The good news is from all of this scientific research and new knowledgeabout nuclear power and research will lead to many new inventions and creations in the

future. This bomb shows when many countries and cultures work together on somethingthe kind of power that can be created. Each scientist contributed his own special skills

that he learned in his country to help make this perfect.

After reviewing the results from the test with radiation levels and destruction theteam decides that this is too deadly of a weapon to use. It is inhumane to ever use, something this powerful could effect a country for 50 years or more. The team writes an

in depth letter to the president outlining all the problems that the atomic bomb causes andhow it should never be used. War is getting out of hand and Japan has just attacked Pearl

Harbor. Will the president use the bomb? What will the super team do now that theydon’t have anything to work on? Will the war end? Find out next time in “Fat Boy”!
