Outlook for January

Overall real estate activity for the Manhattan Beach market in December was positive, as confirmed by

relatively strong performance measures for total sales, sale/listing ratio, and median days to sell.

However, the median market sales price did trend off pace with respect to November. Though, in all

fairness, this measure of performance is a bit volatile because it acknowledges significant data outliers,

instead of discounting or explaining the obvious deviation from the relatively stable majority. In summary,

the Manhattan Beach real estate market ended 2014 on a positive note.

Looking forward, with respect to the aforementioned, as well as other macro and micro economic factors, I

expect a healthy but more conservative approach to real estate investing in 2015. To schedule a free
