PREPARATIONSand and seal the surface, both front and back, with
Acrylic Sealer Finisher Matte Spray. Resand lightly, if needed. Basecoat the backs of all three cupcakes with Traditional Burnt Sienna. Transfer the major lines of the design.

cupcake WisteriaBasecoat the muffi n liner Santa RedBasecoat the cherry
SHADING AND HIGHLIGHTING FOR THE ICING AND CAKE Yellow OchreWith your #8 shader fl oat a shade
along the bottom edge of each layer of the icing Honey BrownDeepen the above shade keeping
it smaller Light ButtermilkFloat a highlight along the top
of each layer of the icing Snow WhiteBrighten the above highlight
keeping it smaller Honey BrownFloat a shade on the cake just
under the icing and along the top edge of the muffi n liner.
Milk ChocolateDeepen the above fl oat keeping it smaller, especially in between the v areas of the muffi n liner
Napa RedFloat a shade along the bottom edge of the cherry and place the smile line for the stem
Fiery Red Hot ShotFloat a highlight along the top edge of the cherry
Medium Hauser GreenWith your liner add the stem to the cherry
Snow WhiteUsing your liner, add a shine line on the top right side of the cherry.
THE MUFFIN LINER Snow WhitePlace a back-to-back fl oat along
each side of the line that indicates the center of the vs. Place a highlight fl oat along the top edge of the muffi n liner. Using your liner place a line down the center of the back-to-back fl oats
Purple CowDrybrush in between the lines Snow WhiteAdd the white dots that are along
the edge of the top of the muffi n liner.

The Blue Muffi n Liner Cupcake ButtermilkBasecoat the icing Cashmere BeigeBasecoat the cake section of the
cupcake Blue HavenBasecoat the muffi n liner Shading and Highlighting for the icing and cake The shading and highlighting on this cupcakes icing
is done the same as the Lavender Cupcake... CocoaFloat a shade just under the icing and next
to the top of the cupcake liner. Place a second shade next to the top of the muffi n liner keeping it smaller. Add an additional shade in the scalloped areas next to the top of the muffi n liner.
THE MUFFIN LINER Blue Chiff onPlace a back-to-back fl oat along
each side of the line that indicates the center of the scallops. Float a highlight along the scallops at the top of the muffi n liner.
Deep Midnight BlueDrybrush in between the lines. Snow WhiteUsing your liner, outline the scallops
along the top edge of the muffi n liner. Add the line down the center of each of the back-to-back fl oats on the muffi n liner. Add the large dots along the points at the top of the muffi n liner.
Santa Red, Medium Hauser Green, Deep Midnight Blue, Yellow Ochreand any other color from you paletteUsing the tip of your liner add Sprinkles all over the icing...

The Green Muffi n Liner Cupcake Baby PinkBasecoat the icing Moon YellowBasecoat the cake section of the
cupcake Mint JulepBasecoat the muffi n liner Snow WhiteBasecoat the candy mint Shading and Highlighting for the Icing and Cake Royal FuchsiaFloat a shade along the bottom
edge of each layer of the icing Pink Chiff onFloat a highlight along the top edge
of each layer of icing Snow WhiteBrighten the above highlight keeping
it smaller Honey BrownFloat a shade on the cake just under
the icing and along the top edge of the muffi n liner. On the cake add a second fl oat in the v areas.
THE MUFFIN LINER Light Lime GreenUsing the same technique as the
previous two muffi n liners, place a back-to-back fl oat along each side of the line that indicates the center of the vs. Float along the top of the muffi n liner
Sea AquaDrybrush in between the lines. Place a fl oat across the bottom of the muffi n liner.
Snow WhiteAdd the wavy lines horizontally across the muffi n liner and the tiny scallops and go around the very top of the muffi n liners vs.
Santa RedUsing your liner add the red stripes on the candy mint
Sea AquaWith your liner add the green stripes Deep Midnight BlueFloat a very watery shade
around the outer edge of the mint Snow WhiteAdd the shine line

FINISHINGAfter the painting of the cupcakes is done, let them dry and then spray both the fronts and the backs with DecoArts Sealer/Finisher Matte Varnish. Let dry.
Gold Extreme SheenBasecoat the cutout at the very bottom and the hanger at the very top of all three cupcakes. Let dry.
DecoArts SoSoft VanishWith your #8 fl at, working one cupcake at a time, go over the highlights on the icing of the Lavender muffi n liner and the Pink muffi n liner cupcakes. While the varnish is still wet, sprinkle with Glamor Dust. Let dry. Shake off excess.
On the Blue muffi n liner cupcake add the varnish to the entire top of icing. While still wet sprinkle with Glamor Dust. Let dry. Shake of excess.
