Thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who gave their time and talent to make this event possible for the graduating class of LHS!

Dear LHS Parents & Faculty,
It’s hard to believe another school year has come and gone. The PTSA has accomplished a lot this past
school year, and we are very thankful for your support. With your help, we purchased ELA books for the library
so that teachers can check out a copy for the entire class, rather than asking the students to purchase the books.
We continued to support other activities, such as the Honor Roll Breakfasts, Teacher Mini-Grants (which award-
ed $1,500 this year), LHS Project Graduation, the newly formed LHS Alumni Association, Titan Treats (Ice
cream on Fridays), and the Powder Puff tournament.
Our 5th annual Powder Puff Tournament was the most successful we’ve had to date! There was a lot of
excitement the week of the tournament, and we had more participants than ever! Congratulations to the seniors
who beat the juniors in triple overtime! A special thank you to Esther Fayard and Dawn Fournier, Powder Puff
Co-chairs, for all of their hard work! We’d also like to thank all of the volunteers who helped hand out packets
and t-shirts, sold tickets, and worked in concessions.
Congratulations to our new PTSA Executive Board. They were installed at the PTSA general meeting on
May 1st, and look forward to yet another successful year. If you are interested in serving on the PTSA board for
the 2014-15 school year, please contact us. We have several positions open and would love to have new mem-
bers!
As always, if you need assistance from the PTSA, please do not hesitate to email either of us at anytime.
Thanks again to all of our PTSA members who joined and who support us throughout the year. We could not do
it without you!
Sincerely,
Michele Zitzmann, [email protected]

POWDER PUFF FOOTBALL
This year's Powder Puff was a huge success! I would like to thank the faculty, staff,
parents and students of LHS for your support. I would also like to thank all of the
awesome volunteers.........from the concession committee, to the gate and ticket
volunteers, to the battle of the bands, to those who helped out during spirit week, and
to those who helped at the teacher lunch. The week and the night of the games were
fabulous and we could not do it without help from all of you. Congratulations to the
Seniors, this year's Powder Puff champions! It was an amazing final game! Looking
forward to next years games and hoping for as much success as this year!
THANKS AGAIN!

Congratulations to our students whose names were randomly drawn
for a special gift to show our appreciation for being a member of
LHS PTSA!
Parents, as a reminder, we encourage student PTSA memberships when you join PTSA. We
truly appreciate your support, and because of this, we are able to assist LHS by helping to
pay for books, updating technology, hosting teacher luncheons and honor roll breakfasts, and
hosting awesome events, such as Powder Puff.
We sincerely thank you for your contribution and PTSA would not be able to offer these
benefits without your support!
