The Department of Computer Engineering has started Software

Development Cell which includes five members Prof. Shyamal

Virnodkar, Prof. Kavita Bathe, Prof. Mrunali Desai, Prof. Nilambari

Joshi and Mr. Santosh Jadhav. This cell undertakes various software

projects which fulfills the KJSIEIT’s requirements and also provides

consultancy to other institutes of Somaiya Group. The current projects

are:-

1) Admission project for KJSIEIT, Sion, Mumbai.

2) Examination Project for KJ Somaiya College of Science and

Commerce, Vidyavihar, Mumbai.

3) KIAAR management for Godavari Bio-Refineries Limited,

NOTE:

1. Candidates must come along with their parent/s.

2. Admissions will be given strictly on the basis of inter se merit.

3. Candidates will be called one by one according to their merit number for counselling.

4. Seat will be allotted to the candidate in a particular branch as per his/her choice, provided vacant seat in that branch is available at that time.

5. If the admitted candidate is willing to change the branch, he/she has to bring new

Demand Draft/cheque/cash for allotting the seat and at the same time he/she has to cancel his/her previous admission.

6. If there is no vacant seat available in the desired branch, seat in other branch will be offered. 7. If the candidate is absent when his/her merit number and name is announced, the next candidate

will be called immediately.

8. Counseling round will be conducted till all Vacancy seats are filled.

9. If the candidate reports late in the session scheduled for him/her, he/she will be considered at the end of the session on the same day for the seats vacant at that time.

10. If the candidate does not report for counseling Round then his/her claim for the said seat stand cancelled for that particular round.

11. Candidates should bring Application ID (EN16____________) generated by DTE along with Facilitation Centre Acceptance.

12. The candidates must bring the Demand Draft as mentioned below –

i) Demand Draft/Cheque/Cash for Rs.1,34,415/-* including Tuition, Development and other Fees for the Candidates who have passed his/her XII (HSC) Examination from Maharashtra State Board.

ii) Demand Draft/Cheque/Cash for Rs.1,35,235/-* including Tuition, Development and other Fees for the Candidates who have passed his/her XII (HSC) Examination from other than Maharashtra State Board.

iii) Demand Draft/Cheque should be drawn on any Nationalized / Scheduled bank in favour of K. J. Somaiya Institute of Engineering & I. T. payable at Mumbai.

*This is Interim Fee for the students admitted in 2016-2017. Student will have to pay additional fee in

case of the final fee approved by Fees Regulating Authority is more than this interim fee. If the final

fee approved is less than the interim fee collected, the same will be refunded to the student.
