“I have some good news and bad news…”
“The good news is – we’re making great time!”
“the bad news is – we’re lost!!!”

believe what you say

Get back in you teams and answer the following
Can you state these for your agency?
On a scale from 1 – 10 (1 = low – 10 = high) how would you rate the agency’s overall commitment to change?
Do you feel that upper management is committed to change?
We will review this training
Think about this… What are your preferred vision, values
and outcomes? What are your expectations for
yourself and for those around you? What supports do you need? What skills do you need to be more
effective ?
Does the agency have a clear vision and values?
Does the agency have reasonable plans to put its vision and values into action?
If so, do you know what they are?
Do you know what is expected of you? Do you feel comfortable with it? Do you have the resources and support
that you need to accomplish these expectations?
Are people held accountable (in a good way) for attaining these outcomes?
This is someone that you admire and would love to work with
What makes them so effective? How do others respond to them?
Be that boss!!!
Developing and defining your agency's values
