them to internal volumes.

• Allocate Storage wizard - maps volumes from array to the ports connected to the Universal Storage Platform V

Available External Attached LDEVs
• Initially, the Universal Storage Platform V will show no external volumes until you do the previous step on the external array
• All mapped LDEVs to the External Storage port then appear in this list

• You can select any number of LDEVs to map as internal volumes

Each external volume is automatically configured as
internal volumes.
You can also
manually
change the
automatic
settings to
suit your
needs by
clicking on the LDEV ID.
A confirmation dialog appears to check your settings one last time.
