Managing Challenging Conversations: A Professional Development Opportunity for Jewish Community Managers and Staff Each day, Jewish community professionals bring to their work a passion for Jewish values and a commitment to enhance the Jewish community. As a Jewish community professional, however, you and your staff are likely to encounter difficult situations on the job, either with members, lay-leaders, co-workers, donors or clients. Some of these situations may involve issues surrounding Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian relationship or other equally charged topics. In these 4-hour workshops, one for managers and one for staff, participants will learn how to deal with the most challenging conversations faced by Jewish community professionals in order to avoid the mismanagement of stressful situations. Through skills building and practice sessions, participants will learn to apply cutting edge communications techniques to de- escalate tough encounters so your agency stays on track when sensitive issues arise. Managing Challenging Conversations: A Professional Development Opportunity for Jewish Community Managers and Staff

Each day, Jewish community professionals bring to their work a passion for Jewish values and a commitment to enhance the Jewish community.
