Volunteer Program Guidelines• Requirements

• 6 hours per family of all Summer U9-U17 players

• $125 deposit per player• Shredded at end of season if commitment us completed

• Each player must turn in both a commitment form and $125 deposit at team meeting to their team manager

• Volunteer hours per team for both Fall and Summer•6 hours each for one coach, one manager and one assistant coach

•Example 1: 3 coaches and 2 managers all do both seasons –• All will receive their full hours.

•Example 2: Summer only team with 3 coaches and two managers –• 2 coaches and one manager will get full hours or coaches and managers

can decide how they want to split the hours.

Volunteer Program Guidelines• What qualifies as volunteer hours:

• Hours must be club hours not team hours. • Hours are claimed thru Dibs. • Only key staff have ability to give hours• Any hours not claimed thru Dibs must be approved by General

Manager or Assistant General Manager

• Example 1: Field coordinator offers you 4 hours to help with field prep. This is a club item and you will get the hours but only if we are told. Make sure that the field coordinator has emailed the GM or AGM about your hours.

• Example 2: Your coach tells you that you get four hours if you help him run a team event. Your coach does not have authority to give volunteer hours and these are team hours so you will not receive volunteer hours.

ACL Prevention Seminar• Female soccer players U13 and older incur the highest

number of ACL injuries and are therefore at the highest risk

• Medical experts agree education and conditioning is key to prevention.

• MPB will host a seminar for all players in the coming month(s) on avoiding ACL injuries.

• Please encourage all girls U13 and older to attend• Details will be sent once seminar dates are set

Baseline Concussion Testing• Hosted by MPB in Winter

• Players U11 and older encouraged to attend

remember that we are guests

MPB Club and Team Fees• $60 Tryout/Registration Fee – paid by all players

• MPB Club Fee: $375 PR/C1/Maroon $360 C2/C3/Gold• Standard fee charged by the Club to play soccer for MPB. This fee is

used by MPB to cover player development costs, club administration, MYSA registration fees, referees, MPB tournament registration, and other costs related to running a soccer club.

• $150 Commitment fee paid after tryouts is a portion of club fee

• Team Fee – Determined from Team Budget: • Fee determined by each team and used for team specific costs. Team

fees vary greatly among teams. In general the older the team and the higher their competitive level the higher the team fee. Examples of team fee costs include: Tournaments, dome charges for team specific training and scrimmages, training kits, team supplies, etc.

Two domes• New for 2015-16 is the addition of Providence Dome

Dome training requirements• Player liability forms (MYSA, US Club and Providence),

volunteer commitment forms and volunteer checks must be submitted before training begins.

• 80 % of a teams postdated checks are required to be collected prior to dome usage. • Players that have not turned in their post dated checks or set up a

payment plan with the GM cannot train in the dome.• As soon as you know their may be a problem with payments

contact the GM.• Dome time can be suspended by MPB if players/teams train that

have not submitted their payments or set up a payment plan.

Dome Usage Guidelines:• Adult must be present with team at all times• Be respectful of dome staff, other teams and patrons. • Remind players to follow the staff directions and rules. • Do not enter dome training space until your start time• Clean shoes only on turf surfaces• Return all equipment to its original location• NO Food or Drink other than water is allowed on turf• MPB team disagreements over dome training space:

• Monthly dome schedule is posted at the dome and online• Do not ask dome staff to resolve issue.

When Can I get into the Maple Grove Dome…First Group of the day weekdays - 5 or 5:30

• Enter dome 15 minutes prior to start time

First Group of the day weekends – 8AM • Lobby opens 30 minutes prior to start time• Dome opens 15 minutes prior to start time

•Do not enter dome space if baseball, softball or lacrosse is training.

•Players should not be on the track while they are waiting for their training

Maple Grove Sports Dome Parking• Remind parents and coaches to follow all parking lot rules

• Yellow Curbs, Emergency Exits, etc.

• Dome staff are instructed by Maple Grove Police to call if there is illegal parking in the dome lot. • Tickets will be given even if you cannot see the yellow curb.

• New this year: No pick up line. You must enter dome lobby and pickup player

• Drop off your player and park in the MGSH parking lot

Rules specific to Providence Dome…

• Each team must have a first aid kit on hand during training

• Team must wrap up training with 5 minutes left in their allotted training session and be completely off field when their period ends

• Soccer goals are to be moved by dome staff or under supervision of dome staff only.

• All players must complete Providence Liability Waiver form

• Review everything in detail and submit change requests to Ben.• Do not post anything to your team calendar until you receive FINAL

schedule.

• Draft one change requests date will be given with draft one• No changes will be accepted after the change request deadline

request it.

• The only change requests allowedfrom draft two are those that changed from draft one that you did not request.

Summer 2016 UniformsThis is the 1sr year of a 2 year Uniform cycleAll players are required to purchase either a goalie kit or a field kit.

• The uniform kit costs $210 and includes: • 2 jerseys (1 red custom, 1 white),• 2 pair of shorts (1 red, 1 white), 2 pair of socks (1 red, 1 white), • Warm-ups pants and Warm Up jacket with customized name and number• Women's shorts sizes will be available to order (adult sizes only)

• Optional Items• Adidas Soccer back pack• Adidas training shirts• Extra shorts and socks

• Uniform fittings will be available at the AGM

• Uniforms will be ordered in mid-late November thru a website run by Planet Soccer

• There is a Goalie kit for full time goalies to purchase in lieu of the regular “field player” kit. The price will be the same as the Uniform kit, and will include the warm up.

• Goalie kits consist of two sets of game apparel and a warm up. Each set will have: shorts, socks, jersey..

• For teams without a full time Goalie, the team can purchase a goalie jersey through Planet Soccer. Or the goalie may wear the opposite jersey that the team is wearing.
