(Organisational Chart)
Nature and Extent of involvement of Faculty and Students in Academic
Affairs/Improvements
The stake holders and then faculty are made aware of the vision and
mission of the institution and the efforts put forth to achieve the goals.

  ! "#
The parents are also taken into the teaching - learning process. They are
made aware of the educational system in professional colleges and the rules and
regulations of the university, as well. Frequent interaction with the parents either
by way of individual contacts or by ‘Parents – Teachers Meets’ are arranged to
give the parents a feel of the academic progress of their wards.
Faculty follow a well planned course of action to impart quality technical
education to the students. They are made aware of the importance of systematic
and consistent effort, through training programs. Faculty are encouraged to attend
seminars and short term courses to update their knowledge. They take care to
introduce innovative teaching practices, to run the laboratory classes efficiently
and to act as mentor to the students. Each faculty maintains a course file. During
the semester teachers ‘self evaluate’ so as to maintain a suitable pace with the
coverage of the syllabus. . They also confirm the progress of the students. Also, the
faculty come out with suggestions and modifications to improve the standard of the
students. Students are encouraged to organize seminars and technical sessions
under the guidance of the faculty. Weaker students are identified and extra
coaching given. Side by side with the teacher’s job, faculty act as mentors and help
the students in various ways. Association activities of the departments and the
functioning of clubs like electronic club etc., are also supervised by the faculty.
They work hand –in - hand with the placement cell.
 Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance
As a matter of policy the management provides the background of every
decision taken for the information of the affected parties. Also policies on
various aspects of running of the institution are spelt out through the
Prospectus and Manual of Policies for the benefit of the students, parents
and faculty.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance
Student feedback is obtained at the end of each semester. This feedback is
shown to the faculty and steps are taken to correct deficiencies, if any.
Feedback from the students also helps in identifying the training needs of
faculty.
Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students
In the event of any grievance, faculty and staff are free to approach the
Principal and discuss their problems. In the case of students they may bring
up their grievances to their faculty counselor at the first instance. The faculty
counselor, if necessary, takes up the issue with the Principal. If the issue has
to be taken up with the Management, the Principal takes the responsibility to
do so.
