The old man vs the new man

Scripture: Gen1:26



(Scripture Reading) Gen.1: 26 -27

1:26 And God said, Let us make man in ourimage, after our likeness: and let them have

dominion over the fish of the sea, and over

the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, andover all the earth, and over every creepingthing that creepeth upon the earth.

1:27 So God created man in his own image, inthe image of God created he him; male and

female created he them.



Genesis 2: 7-8

2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the

dust of the ground, and breathed into hisnostrils the breath of life; and man became a

living soul.

2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden

eastward in Eden; and there he put the man

whom he had formed.



The image of God is spirit (St. John 4:24)

The spirit man moved by a thought; like the bride ispromised so to do, clothed in Gods image.

Paul posits by revelation the spirit man as the newman

2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one,

and hath broken down the middle wall of partition

between us; 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh theenmity, even the law of commandments contained in

ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new

man, so making peace;



Man in the Image of God Now, remember, you're in acycle of three, but you're one person. Like Father, Son,and Holy Ghost, cycle of three, but one Person. Threeattributes of the same God: fatherhood... Three

offices like: fatherhood, sonship, and Holy Ghost. And you are: body, spirit, and soul. Now, the outside body has five inlets to it, to contact your earthly home: see,taste, feel, smell, and hear. The inside, which is aspirit, it has five senses: conscience, and love, and so

Faith is the only direct and positive sense,

and it's the sixth sense. Faith is more than

sight. Faith is more than feeling. You do not

feel faith. You don't taste faith. You don't

smell faith. You don't see faith. Faith is the

substance of things hoped for, the evidence of

God is a spirit

God's a Spirit, so there couldn't be any sex.

There couldn't be any sexual desire. Because

if it was, then Jesus wasn't born a virgin

birth. So God is a Spirit, and He

overshadowed this Mary and created in her

the Blood cell that brought forth the Son of

God. And it's through His holy Blood that wehave access to life.

And our sexual blood is dismissed, and we have theBlood of Jesus Christ that stands for an atonement,making an atonement for our sins. How beautiful the

picture. You believe that? You have to be if you'resaved. You can't accept nothing else and be saved.Only He was the virgin born Son of God. God Almighty just overshadowed the woman; she knowed nothingabout a man. And so He just overshadowed her and

God is a spirit

Now, how many knows that Christ is the Spirit

of God? We all know that. He's the anointed

One. Jesus was the anointed. There's where

people who believe that there's three or four

different Gods, get all mixed up. See? God is a

Spirit. Jesus was the body that the Spirit of

God dwelled in, made Him Emmanuel, God,tabernacled on earth. He was God

Jesus Christ was God, yet He was the Son of

God. His flesh was the Son of God 'cause God

created it, but inside He was God. "It's not

Me," said Jesus, "does the works, it's My

Father that dwelleth in Me. And that day you'll

But now the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Holy

Spirit and Jesus Christ is the same-self Spirit.

The anointed One, Jesus, the Man, was the

Son of God, but the Holy Spirit was on Him

was God. "My Father dwells in Me." See, It's

the Holy Spirit, so it's still God.A.PARADOX_

Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. He was

God the Word. Every one of us believe that

God was in Christ reconciling the world to

Himself. Jesus is the Son of God, that is the

body, and God was the Spirit that dwelt in that

Tabernacle that He created for Himself, a

virgin body. God.



God...That's the reason He said here, "I've

been so long with you and you don't know

Me? He that's seen Me hath seen the Father."

In other words, "You see the Father working

through Me. God is a Spirit. They that worship

Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth."

See?



God is a Spirit. And here we find the Word being

made manifest. In I John we find it; also in

John 11, it says here that... And also in John

5:24, We find many places. John 14, Jesus said

that, "He that believeth on Me, the works that

I do shall he do also." Why? It's the Word

Melchezidec a manifestation of God

Melchezidec A King come down from Salem,and met Abraham coming from the slaughter of the kings. And this King didn't have no

father, had no mGod...That's the reason Hesaid here, "I've been so long with you and youdon't know Me? He that's seen Me hath seenthe Father." In other words, "You see the

Father working through Me. God is a Spirit.They that worship Him must worship Him in

Spirit and truth.



" See? other, had no beginning of days or ending of Life. Who did Abraham meet? Now think. He didn't have no father; He didn't have no mother. He never had a time that He began, and He never has a time

when He will end, so that same King of Salem has tobe living today. Amen. You see it? It was that theophany that was that Son of God. What Salem? That Jerusalem which is Above, that Abraham, beingblessed, was searching, find, trying to find the City

It's the same type of body that we receive whenwe die here. "If this earthly tabernacle bedissolved, we have one already waiting." That was It. And that was the theophany which wasthe Son of God. That Son, that Logos, became

flesh, because we were put in flesh. And thetheophany, the Logos, became flesh, here amongus, and It was nothing else but the dwelling place,

Body of man, Spirit of God And God had to comedown in His Son, Christ Jesus, to suffer. That'sright. And God's Blood bled from His body. Yes,

sir. God was in His Son. He eat like a man. That'sright. He spoke like a man (That's right.) whenHe would talk to people.But I tell you, whensome people come to take Him, one time, some

soldiers, they went back and said, "Never a manspake like this."He was a man, but that was God speaking out of Him.



When He was standing, as I said the other day,

by the side of Lazarus' grave, tears rolling down

His cheeks, He was a man. But when He said,

"Lazarus, come forth," and a man been dead

four days come back to life again, that was God
