Mr. Tagomi and Mr. Baynes are waiting on the arrival of an “old gentleman”

Baynes has a secret meeting with a Japanese man in a department store changing room. The meeting with Mr. Yatabe still doesn’t take place.

Joe and Juliana have a discussion about other things that have changed since the Nazis took over

Churchill is still leading the Britts at the age of 90

At the end of the chapter Mr. Baynes’ guest arrives

Reiss and Vom Merre are up to something Childan apologizes to Paul, but Paul

seems to have no interest in taking an apology from him

Childan gets his money making idea from Paul to make good luck charms

At first he accepts the advice and then he looks at his work he had done up to this point and cannot settle for selling crappy little charms

Tagomi meets Yatabe It turns out that Yatabe is the former

Imperial Chief of Staff Baynes meets the general in person Operation Dandelion Frink (Fink) is taken into custody for

J&J arrive in Denver and change appearances

She wants to see the sights but Joe is set on leaving tonight

She begins spiraling into full blown madness

She leaves Joe laying there bleeding Then she speaks to Mrs. Abendsen and

makes plans to meet with her husband the next day

Tagomi’s madness continues to grow Tagomi goes to Childan to trade in the

gun he used to kill the would be assassins

Tagomi breaks again

Juliana finds out she killed Joe from the paper the next day.

She finishes Grasshopper and gets a somewhat enlightened sense

J meets the “Man in the High Castle” It turns out the Oracle wrote Grasshopper And when she asked the oracle why it

wrote it she gets a reply of the truth
