The man who gave his best years to students

Malikov Vladimir Vladimir Aleksandrovich

was born on September 6, 1957 in Ufa.

He graduated from Chelyabinsk State Institute of physical education and sport.

He became interested in sport when he was11. But his sport career has

started since 1972.

It is difficult to count all his victories:•Multiple winner of Askakovo-Belebei run;•Bronze medalist of the USSR championship among young people (1975);•Silver medalist of the USSR championship for the prize of magazine “Soviet sport” (1976);•The prize winner of the USSR Cup for the prize of magazine “Izvestiya” (1976);•Bronze medalist of the 5th final of the RSFSR championship (1976);

•Bronze medalist of the RSFSR championship at All-Russian games for young people (1976);•Silver medalist of Russian sport festival championship (1977);•All-round winner in Chelyabinsk (1986). He was also a participant of a big amount of international marathons, relays and championships.

Achievements

Aims of the coach Vladimir Aleksandrovich says: “My way into pedagogy wasn’t so simple. Sport

achievements, personal development were my ambitions. After a while I realized that when you’re alone you can’t get significant results. You always need a person who can help, support you and share minutes of defeat and triumph. My first coach Kashafutdinov Marat Sabirovich was such a person. Years later, training my students I try to be like my mentor.

My purpose is to make students understand that

PE is not only a healthy lifestyle but a way of self-

education and self-understanding.”

Malikov Vladimir Aleksandrovich began to work in our school in 2002. He spent 8 years bringing up his students. Thanks to him, our school teams were always winners in or medalists in different city and regional athletic competitions. He had special methods in working with students. He had and has selfless dedication and high professionalism.

I admire the fact that my teacher stopped his personal sport career and devoted his best years to students. I know that this former students have become good people. He realizes his dreams and ambitions through his students.

Vladimir Aleksandrovich was my teacher only for some time. But

he has helped me to become more industrious, self-confident

and optimistic.
