The difference in male and female

‘Rights’ is realty used to mean the authority of the minority.

rights…. Dose God have Rights?

(Rom 9:20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that

Fact- Man, He, Husband

(1Tim 3:1-2) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

(1Tim 3:2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

What is so special about a man?

(1Tim 3:4) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;

Paul’s explanation for the restriction (1Tim 3:5) (For if a man know not how to rule

his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

The Devil doesn’t mind if you obey some of the Bible as long as you have the ‘right’ to decide what is relevant to your situation.

History of division of authority between Male/female.

(Gen 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

(Gen 3:16) Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

• In ‘the fall’ Eve usurped the authority of Adam (Gen 3:6) she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The Trinity has an authority structure

(1Cor 11:3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

(1Cor 11:8-10) For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

(1Cor 11:9) Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

(1Cor 11:10) For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

• The wife should have a God given spiritual protection between her and the spirit world. (God gave man the rule/power over the woman. The apostles were given power over the spirit world {Mat.10:1,8, Lk. 9:1})

Eve was deceived; Adam abandoned the throne.(1Tim 2:13-14) For Adam was first formed, then

Eve.(1Tim 2:14) And Adam was not deceived, but the

woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Authority to cancel a vow made to God (Num 30:1-12)

1) And Moses spake … This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.

2) If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

Unusual command

(Titus 2:4) That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,…. Only time woman commanded to love their husband.

(Titus 2:5) To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

It should be more natural for a woman to love their husband (Gen. 3:16) only one command of this kind given to the woman; however, it always accompanies the commands given to a husband… love your wife.

THE WOMAN IN THE CHURCH:

(1Tim 2:11) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

(1Tim 2:12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

(1Tim 3:2) A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

(1Pet 2:25) For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Silent in the leadership roll not in extemporaneous praise, the final

authority in the church should be male.

(1Cor 14:34) Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

(1Cor 14:35) And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

The Oracle of Delphi

• The Apostles and leaders of the Church were all men. The replacement for Judas Acts 1 was a choice of 2men (Justus, and Matthias).

1Cor. 14:34 …women keep silence in the churches… as also saith the law. (first 5 books of the Bible)

What do we know about ‘children’? …obey, honor,

How to ‘Redeem’ time

• Everyone has someone to submit to(Eph 5:21) Submitting yourselves one to another

in the fear of God.

Wife/husband as if he were the Lord

(Eph 5:22) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

• Why- Gods creation always points to the Godhead (Ps 19, Rom. 1:20)

(Eph 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Command to love means it is not what is natural.

(Eph 5:25) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28) So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

3parts to a Godly creation

• (trinity, family) husband & wife = marriage if joined by God

• (Eph 5:30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

• (Eph 5:31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
