I am currently staying in the UK. I have been a transmission linesman since Jan 2006 working my way from trainee to leading hand/chargehand. I have been fortunate enough to work on a large range of projects in many different locations including an overseas secondment to New Zealand for 14 months. Before this i spent almost 10 years as a FLT operator working at a factory in my home town i was responsible for many duties and often worked alone. I'm a very hard worker and take a lot of pride in the job I do. Working long and unsociable hours has never bothered me. I'm also a quick learner which helps me adapt and help others which has been handy as each country has its own particular way of doing things. I enjoy passing on my acquired skills and knowledge to the trainees and its nice when they remind me when they're qualified . I look forward to hearing from you soon.
