The tool bases do not cover the

battery entirely, like they should take

a smaller battery. I can see where an

Impact could knock battery loose from

tool. The screw impact is great, better

than using the heavy drill.

I ask someone who uses battery drills for

a living and they said Makita was the

best product out there. I have not got to

use the drills enough yet to agree or

disagree but I will have some projects in

the future that will test them out. I heard

that they have better battery life than

most drills out there and that is very

important to me. The last battery drill set

I bought (Ryobi) has been a flop

because the batteries did not last

anytime at all.

This is a dynomite drill motor, impact

driver & flashlight. Me and two of my

friends have the same kit. If you pay

around 230.00 or less you have a good

deal.

I recently purchased the Makita

LCT300W, 18-volt; cordless 3-piece

combo kit. I thought it would be the

cordless tool pick that I would fill my

shop with. Well it could have been if the

overpriced batteries did not wear down

so quick and the flash light was worth

using.

I decided to finally replace the Makita

drill I bought in 1983 even though it was

still working well. This has been a very

good purchase. The Makita technology

and quality is better than the others. I

use the drill, impact and flashlight for my

job as an aircraft mechanic and for

projects around the house. Amazon's

price with free shipping sealed the deal.

This is an excellent product.
