Making sure you’re legally compliant.

We don’t want your plant and machinery to fail any more than you do. So, we will help you to keep everything on track with our thorough inspection schedule.

In the UK, there is a whole host of regulations that must be met to demonstrate compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure the safe management and operation of your equipment. If your plant/machinery fails you could be fined and even prosecuted. Health & Safety Executive (HSE) operate a ‘Fee for Intervention’ cost recovery scheme following the introduction of the Health & Safety (Fees) Regulations.

• The HSE recover the cost of completing regulatory functions fromthose found to be in material breach of health and safety law.

• This currently costs £154 per hour and is based on the time ittakes HSE to identify the breach and help you put things right(including all associated admin).

• Material breaches can also lead to prosecution.

Your dedicated inspection schedule will help to ensure you are operating your plant and equipment in line with the relevant regulations and, as a result, avoid potential prosecution and unnecessary cost.

The real cost of failure.

We can’t stress enough how vital it is to ensure you are fully compliant and protected. This isn’t a box ticking exercise, in many cases if something goes wrong, lives could be put at risk.

The HSE respond to a breach of Health and Safety legislation depending on the severity of the incident. Ultimately you could face prosecution and a custodial sentence.
