Making my magazine…Lucy Salter
First I opened a Photoshop page and then changed the background colour to the colour I
wanted…
Then I put the picture I took of steph, cut her out and put her onto my Photoshop page. I had to resize her to fit the page how I wanted. I also took the smudge tool and erased the creases from her top.
Next I added all my cover lines using the text on Photoshop. I choose these colours to match the theme. I also wanted the text to all line up to make it look more professional.
My masthead is ‘xo’ I got the font from online, cut it out and then placed it in the top left hand corner of my page. I also then added ‘rock, rest and roll’ under my masthead.
Next I needed to add my main cover line ‘Roxy rocks’ so I found a font I like and added in the writing that I wanted…
Then I found a picture of a rock hand, made it the same colour as the text and placed in the place of the ‘y’ in Roxy!
All magazines have a barcode so I found a barcode online, cut it out, resized it and added into the left hand corner of my magazine…
Then I had to create my puff, I made a circle shape made it the colour I wanted it be then added my text and placed the puff where I wanted it…
Lastly I added my price to on top of my barcode!
