The name Azaria literally means “helped by God” and has a very special meaning to

Serisha as well as our team who chose the name. Our dedicated legal ladies came

together during a time of great personal tragedy, difficulty and loss in an effort to

make a new beginning not only for ourselves, but also for our clients by once again

establishing a respected legal firm of specialists in our fields of service.

Serisha previously held the title of Head of Conveyancing and Senior

Conveyancing Attorney with Klinkenberg Inc. Attorneys, having been one of the

biggest legal firms in Gauteng. She served a multitude of clients over her almost 8

years of dedicated service to the firm directly under Robert Klinkenberg.

Klinkenberg Inc. was unfortunately and unexpectedly closed in December 2015 after

the tragic passing of the sole director, Robert Klinkenberg. Azaria Legal & Life and

Serisha Azaria Moodley Attorneys. was thereafter formed in an effort to not only

create much needed employment in the current difficult times and volatile economy,

but also to continue the long standing services offered by us to the prior Klinkenberg

Inc. clients.

Our beautiful and highly skilled ladies who have now joined Serisha in this new and

exciting legal firm were all trained by Serisha personally and was part of her original

Klinkenberg Inc. team. The companies, although new, are thus established from

onset based upon each one’s individual as well as our collective knowledge and

passion for what we do. We bring with us absolute loyalty and dedication to continue

to assist the valued clients with whom we have formed excellent client relationships

over the many years of service under the Klinkenberg Inc. name. We further look

forward to serving and building such same loyal relationships with many new clients

as well.

Serisha Azaria Moodley, graduated from the University of KwaZulu Natal with a

Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995, followed by a Bachelor of Laws Degree in 1997.

Serisha attended the School for Legal Practice - KwaZulu Natal in 1999, passing

with outstanding performance at the top of her class.

After completing her articles at Siven Samuel and Associates in

Durban, she remained at the firm as a Professional Assistant

before making the decision to embark into a sole proprietorship,

specialising in Family and Property law. Serisha was admitted

as a Conveyancer & Notary Public in the High Court of

South Africa in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Her vision and

determination for growth, expansion and success lead her

to the decision to relocate to Gauteng in 2007.

Serisha was invited to join Klinkenberg Inc. in May 2008.

She was admitted with Right of Appearance to the High

Court of South Africa in 2009.

Serisha previously headed the Conveyancing Department at Klinkenberg

Incorporated Attorneys. Unfortunately, due to the unexpected and tragic passing of

the firms sole director, Robert Klinkenberg, Klinkenberg Inc. was closed down in

December 2015.

Serisha has since founded Azaria Legal & Life and Serisha Azaria Moodley

Attorneys with the intention to specialise in Conveyancing, Property Law,

Commercial Law, Wills, Trusts & Antenuptial Contracts.

Drafting is her forte, which is why she was chosen to form part of a team of attorneys

who attended to the drafting and vetting of contracts for one of South Africa’s major

financial institutions’ IT Vendor Procurement Department.

Serisha is a great advocate of the empowerment of those employed by the firm and

actively embraces the development of employee skills to provide service excellence to

our clients.

Serisha is intent to remain abreast with the dynamic nature of the law and has

attended various seminars as and when necessary with respect to updates in various

Important Notice

Please note that both Azaria Legal & Life and Serisha Azaria Moodley Attorneys,

Conveyancers & Notaries was established in December 2015

by Serisha Azaria Moodley.

The Registration of the companies are currently pending with the Companies and

Intellectual Property Commission of South Africa and our Registration Numbers

will be available soon. We have been informed that there is a slight delay until

completion and receipt of Certificate of Incorporation and we apologise for any

inconvenience caused. In the interim Serisha Azaria Moodley is operating the

companies as a Sole Proprietor.

The firm has been registered with the Financial Intelligence Centre of South Africa.

We have obtained our Fidelity Fund Certificate for the Firm under the name of

Serisha Azaria Moodley with The Law Society of the Northern Provinces. A copy of

our Fidelity Fund Certificate is available on request.
