ACE award objectives
• Identify and publicize corporate initiatives that advance careers of women
• Recognize companies that optimize contributions and value of women in their organizations
• Inspire others to develop programs of their own
• Track performance of companies with initiatives relative to those without programs
Judging criteria Initiatives evaluated across five dimensions: • Measurable results and impact on target population;
quantitative benchmarks • Business performance – the degree to which the
initiative supports the overall business • Stewardship - the depth of commitment to the
program • Execution – the effectiveness of program execution • Sustainability – the survivability of the program
beyond initial years
Judging • Submissions reviewed only by independent panel of
judges • All submissions are confidential • Evaluate each application independently • Based on pre-specified criteria in the ACE award
application template • Six week process • Convene to discuss and select winner

• Please note that the application fee is waived for our Corporate Partners
• Award presented at the 2015 Annual Conference in Atlanta, November 3-5, 2015.
Winning company requirements • Create a 2-3 minute video highlighting the winning
initiative to be shown at the HBA Annual Conference and posted on the HBA website.
• The company will also be invited to submit a poster describing their initiative to be displayed at the conference.
• A representative from the company with the winning initiative should be presented to accept the ACE Award November 3-5, 2015.
• A leader from the women’s initiative will be asked to share best practices in putting together a winning submission.
