• You already have an existing business
• 1-2 booth spaces for 2 days

• Any combination of makers and commercial makers
• Curating a minimum of 5 booth spaces
• Logo will be placed in the onsite banner and website
• Organizers will work with you to get the best possible location for the community space

What MFSG organizers will do • Profile you as a maker – stories on the blog, stories to
pitch to media• Make sure you send us information early and as
complete information as possible• Community groups can highlight interesting individual
projects• Publicize your booth/ workshop as part of Maker Faire• Blog• Facebook• Event listings• Mailing list
• Include your logo in our partners banner and website (Community partners only)
• Have a sign for your booth, with your name on it
What Makers can do
• Submit complete information early • Closing date is 30th April• Publicity begins well before that, so the earlier you
submit, the more exposure you have• Take part in lead up events and road shows• Road shows in NLB• Lead up events in Science Centre
• Share your project on social media as it is made #sgmakerfaire or on the makerfaire Singapore facebook page.
• Invite your friends and family to attend the Faire
The location
5 workshop rooms, 1 presentation room (for smaller presentations), 1 lecture hall (for keynotes and forums)
Sourcing for ideasÞ How to get the word out so that more people can come to the Faire?Þ How to have better logistics to attract visitors to the Faire?Eg. Shuttle buses to the Faire venue? *Free* goody bag upon arrival for pre registered participantsÞ General logistics like table sizes, waste disposals etcÞ Special tracks for workshops/ talks
Þ Educator track and Developer track in the worksÞ How to make the Makers more comfortable/ keep the energy high throughout?
Þ Music/ cold drinks in a dedicated Maker room?
