Schneider Electric has developed an option module that will enable PM800 series meters to act not only as a power quality meter, but as a serial to gateway with webserver capabilities.

No extra gateway or power supply needed. IP based meter which allows easy integration into existing Ethernet infrastructure and management
Easy access to the PM8ECC information by simply typing the IP address into the web browser
Easy retrofit ability for existing PM800 series meter infrastructure
Give users the ability to enhance their existing energy monitoring system network from serial to Ethernet

Provides an open direct Ethernet connectivity solution using an existing LAN/WAN network.
Offers a high speed communication connection to increase system performance on alarms and data transfers.
Allows a wider range of connectivity options.
E-mail on alarm notification.
Field downloadable firmware for easy upgrades.
Industrial operating temperature range (-25 to 70oC).
Fully isolated communication ports.
Configurable bias and termination for the RS485 serial port.
Web browser based Diagnostics and Register Reader.
