Before I start, let me introduce myself. My name is Hu Lei and I am full time internet

marketer making $20.000 per month. However, I was not born as internet marketer,

Common ways to success

Everyone wants to achieve success, but it is easier said than done. Firstly, being

successful is NOT a thing that can be done in few days. It is all about hard work

and self-confidence. You can dramatically increase your chances of becoming

successful in whatever you choose to pursue by following these advices:

1) Study success and think about it

Imagine yourself being successful, because the more accurately you imagine your

success, the easier it will be for you to achieve it. You cannot have success if you do

not know what it really means for you. Defining the meaning of success can increase

your productivity. Find people who are already successful and get inspired or even

become their apprentice. Do not be lazy to ask them for an advice.

2) Create checkpoints and define goals

Journey to success is long and it is quite hard to stay motivated during it. You can

simply avoid this by creating checkpoints. Prize yourself for every completed

checkpoint, it should make you more confident about yourself. Then you will finally

fulfill your goals.

3) Avoid distractions

I will talk about this later in Time management. So many distractions do not let us do

things we really want to do. These distractions can be used as prize. Allow yourself

30 minutes of Facebook for every 4 hours of work or a new website you made.

4) Take risks

Successful people make big investments and all investments involve risk. Instead of

being scary, study your risks, make sure the odds are in your favor and then take a

leap.

5) Solve problems

People who are successful encourage progress by solving problems and answering

questions. Think about these questions for a while every day. How can you make

your life easier? How can you work effectively?

6) Self development

Self development makes you better. Develop your skills, strengths and talents so that

you can achieve your full potential and get better results.

7) Accept failure and be persistent

Behind every success, there is a failure. Accept it and do not give up! If your first

attempt did not work, do not quit everything you have done. One day, you are surely

going to succeed.

Time management

If you are serious, you need time. How much? It depends on how much money you would like to make. You can double or even triple your real work you do just by

managing time.

Everyone use Facebook, email or so. I call these sites „distraction sites‟, as they do

not let you work full time. Three years ago, I always had a separate tab for Facebook

and I was checking it frequently. Then I managed to dedicate some time (30

minutes or so) for these distractions one or two times per day. In the rest of the

day, I do not let them distract me. Results are awesome! I am 300% more

productive. I can do 3 days work in a day.

If you work only few hours a day, you should find your hours. Some people are

much more productive in the morning, others in the evening. Planning a schedule for

your day would also help you get better result. At the time you wake up, make a little

schedule about what will you do that day. Do not forget to involve basic daily

activities (e.g. bodybuilding or self development) that also eat time. Then start

completing these tasks. Never switch between them as it would distract you. When

you are tired, take a little pause – you will stay fresh and energetic. Try to set time

limit for completing and prize yourself after it is successfully done. Do the hard & ugly work at the beginning when you are still fresh and motivated.

Tips for making money online

You will maybe think I am stupid after reading these advices. Believe me or not, it

simply works. Improvements of productivity are clear. Try it yourself and you will be

amazed.

1) Save and arrange your files

It may require lots of time to arrange all your files, but it will save you many hours you

spend searching files you really need.

2) Try everything

Try every method and do not be aware of new things. You have nothing to loose, you

will just learn from your experience.

3) Think big, start small

You will not make $1000 on the very first day of your work. Start off with few bucks a

day and then scale it up.

4) Be honest with yourself

Never ever lie to yourself. If you get used to do that, at the end you will find yourself

just doing the easy and lazy stuff because you are always convincing yourself that it

is better this way.

5) Don’t get distracted

When you make money online, you are employer of yourself. You have no boss who

forces you to do your tasks. It is easy to get distracted. Using Facebook, reading

emails or chatting significantly eat your time.

6) Make online friends who are also making money online

Online friends can answer your questions, help you or do any other simple stuff that

you will not be able to get anywhere if you do not have them.

7) Don’t switch between things you do

When you are doing something, finish it before you start doing anything else. Don‟t

switch to another method that looks easier and you think you will make more cash

implementing it. Do not fall in that trap.

8) Think twice

There is no money without work. You will not get rich easily and quickly. Do not be

scared of work. Well decide what can bring you money and what is just scam that

brings money to someone else. Compare good and bad points, search for user

experiences and discuss with your moneymaking friends.

9) Stay updated and invest in yourself

Internet is dynamic and method that brought you success yesterday does not have to

bring you success anymore. Stay updated about new methods. Invest in yourself and

learn new things. Nothing you learn is wasted and someday it will help you.

We are going to add a little twist. As we have no capital, we cannot afford to buy

websites. Instead of buying, we will easily create them, monetize them and then

sell them. After making some money, you can fulfill this definition and buy websites.

What you need

There is no need of much money. Actually, you do not need anything at all, but it is

recommended to invest few dollars to get better results. Here is a little list:

its own favorite webhosting service. I use HostGator for couple of years and I am

hosting, you can always choose one of free webhosting companies, but they will

probably put their ads on your site.

Find a niche

When selling a product, many people make the mistake of developing their product

first and then trying to find a market for it. Of course, the process should be

reversed. Deciding on what product or service you will promote in a niche market

should be based on a simple principle. There have to be a demand for your

product or service. You want to offer something that people actually need,

something that will make their lives better, make them feel better physically, make

them look better, or help them solve a problem.

There is no easy knowhow on how to find a niche. Be aware of trends and

current events in the real world. Read magazines, watch news, listen to radio and

think of something than could be successful. If something impresses you, make

notes. Then look deeper.

Begin with checking out hot trends. Use Google Trends, Google Insights,

HotWords.com, Yahoo Buzz, eBay Pulse and Delicious Popular. These sites simply

help you find what is popular right now. Once you have an idea of which niche you

want to target, it is time to determine its profitability. For this, you would have to

use the tools: Google Keyword Tool and WordTracker. Simply type in the idea you

have in mind and press the submit button. You will get list of keywords, which are

related to the term you have entered with monthly search rate and competition in this

keyword. For your main keyword, you should want at least 5 000 searches per

month and low competition. The bigger the completion is, the harder it will be for

you to dominate your niche.

Get a domain related to your niche

You have two options – register new or buy old & high PageRank domain.

Registering new domain is cheaper and easier. However, your PageRank will be

lower and of course the higher the PR is, the more you will sell your site for.

Same thing with domain age, aim for 1 year old domains at least.

Registering new domain: Firstly, do not buy anything else than .com domain if

you want to be successful. Other domains (.info, etc.) are cheaper but it is harder to

make money with them and they cannot be sold for as much money as .com

domains. GoDaddy offers .com domains for $7.49 using promo code “promo749”.

domain, you can register free .tk domain at Dot.tk, but in my opinion, it is just waste

of time as you probably will not make much money using this domain.

Buying old, high PR domain: You need some money to buy an old domain. I would

suggest you buying PR 3 or higher domain, it is not worth to buy lower PR

domains because it is easy to achieve PageRank 1 and 2. If you want to invest little

more, try RegisterCompass.com or YourMainDomain.com. Websites like these two

are the best place to get easy old and high PR domain. Nevertheless, there are

cheaper places to get these domains, you just need more time to find them. Try

GoDaddy auctions, Flippa (the site you will later sell your site on) or large

communities like Digital Point and Warrior Forum.

Install & Set up Wordpress

As I said before, you do not need ANY coding/designing skills. Wordpress has

done the coding/designing work for us. It looks professional and the installation is

simple.

How to install Wordpress? Almost every hosting allows its users to use quick auto

installation script. Just few clicks and your website is ready. Otherwise, follow this

guide.

After installation, sign in to the admin panel, go to Settings section and take some

time to set details of your site. Then find an eye catchy template from Wordpress

Theme Directory via Appearance > Themes in the admin panel.

If you are new to Wordpress and do not know how to do some of these steps, go

Install & Set up Wordpress plugins

Wordpress itself is awesome. It can do almost anything and it has a good potential

to make money, because your site looks professionally. You can increase this

search engines and you will get higher position in Google. Plugins can be installed

via Plugins > Add new in the admin panel. Take some time to configure these

plugins and learn how to use them properly.

Fill your website with high-quality niche-related content

Content is the most important part of your website. Your content has to be

unique. If you have not got at least few unique articles, you will not get indexed in

Google as they hate copycats. Next important factor is quality. Quality content

plays a very decisive role in determining the value of the website. Any website

with a poor content is bound to be ignored by many buyers. Poor content is an

indication that the website was dealt by an unprofessional, and hence is very unlikely

to attract any high paying buyers.

If you are not able to write high-quality article, outsource it. Lots of gigs on Fiverr

offers 200-400 words article for $5. Make sure to have minimum of 3 unique

articles about your main keyword per website! Otherwise, your hard work will be

wasted, because you simply will not get indexed in Google.

Improve SEO

We have already done some search engine optimization by installing SEO plugins to

Wordpress, but it is not enough. Follow these simple steps to get even better

optimized.

SEO Friendly URLs: great way to show Google that your webpage‟s content is

relevant to the desired keyword, is by including your main keyword in the webpage

URL, how to do it in WordPress.

Robots.txt file: robots.txt can tell search engine‟s robots (spiders) not to crawl or

index selected webpages in your website; you can set path to sitemap here, how to

Quality external links: if you link to external websites, always link to RELATED

webpages with high PR only; do not link your websites that aren‟t related! Avoid
