Pollard Windows and Doors is a third generation family business, established in

1948. The Pollard formula for success has been hard work, reinvesting in new

technology, and a consistent desire to give our customers more for their money.

Today our plant has grown to over 300,000 sq.ft. and we are recognized as a

leader in window and door manufacturing technology. Beyond our equipment, is

the strong sense of family that is ever present at Pollard Windows. It is that family

First impressions are incredibly important. That’s why at Pollard Windows we

don’t just make great windows, we also make beautiful doors and entrance

systems. Our Polardor Insulated Entrance Systems are manufactured

with insulated steel or fiberglass doors and offer durability and security.

Whether you choose a paintable wood or low maintenance vinyl

frame, there is a design to meet your needs. Select from a wide variety

of decorative lites with both matching sidelites and transoms. Increase

Solid Wood Frame

The insulating properties of wood will addwarmth to your home. All wood componentsare pressure-treated to protect against decay.Also, all frame joints are sealed to resist waterpenetration. A maintenance-free vinyl cladframe is also available.

Aluminum Sill

Constructed of durable 1/16" aluminumand features raised ribs which allow forgood traction. Low profile sill available for36" wide doors for wheelchair accessibility.

Water Trap Sill Design

Driving rain is trapped in this unique, PVCchannel and released to the outside throughthe weep hole. A weep hole cover helpsprevent insects from entering below the sill.

Weatherstripping

The closed cell weatherstripping used on thePolardor sill resists the absorption of water sothat in cold winter months it does not freezeand lose its tight seal. On the remainder of thedoor frame, a foam compression weatherstrip isused to provide an optimal, secure seal aroundthe perimeter of the door which in winterkeeps warm air in and keeps cold air out.

Tough Steel Skin

Durable 24 gauge steel skinresists warping, swelling ortwisting like conventionalwood doors. Hot-dippedgalvanized steel assures longterm protection and anexcellent base for finishing.

Polyurethane Foam Core

The insulation value is at leastsix times greater than a solidwood door. With an R valueof 12 it is the perfect solutionfor your home.

Sweepless Door

By eliminating theneed for a doorsweep there is nosweep to tear oradjust.

Fiberglass Subsill

The durable 3/32" fiberglasssubsill resists rotting andcracking. The continuoussill running under the jambsprevents jamb rot.

Solid Wood Lock Block

Each door is equipped with asolid wood lock block toensure permanent attachmentof security hardware.

Our doors can be purchased with a tough0.065" thick, vinyl clad low maintenance frame.It withstands all types of weather withoutpeeling, flaking, pitting or corroding. Availablein Pearl White, Silversand or Autumn Ivorycolors. To give it a more traditional lookoptional brickmold can be purchased.Also available in wood frame.

Terrace Doors are a terrific choice for patios, decks, porches or walkouts. These doors

are manufactured using a fiberglass or an insulated steel door and incorporate larger

glass lites to create a beautiful view. Choose from completely clear lites to decorative

leaded lites depending on your style. Terrace doors come complete with a smooth

sliding screen door to let the fresh air in and keep the bugs out.
