Darren McPherson

Contemporary figurative artist living in London, UK. I work in high key colours that can be converse, almost jarring; the use of colour is intrinsic to my work, I rarely use black in my painting and use the negative space of the canvas only to enhance a finished image. My Figurative style is free flowing inspired by works by artists such as Gernot Kissel, Basquiat, Adam Neate and others. My works are drawn from a sense of the human condition and can take on a chaotic, erratic nature. The figures I paint are bold and provocative, arresting with sublime titles, exploring the allure of the form with vibrancy and stark lines. Each work describes varying emotions; innocence, modesty, confidence or audacity through a process of neo-expressionism. The high key colours being crucial in achieving full expressive and communicative force. The works are often at odds with themselves, the beauty of the line juxtaposed to the chaos and decay of the background.

David Agenjo

A Madrid-born artist, graduated at the Self-taught Achievers College. Art has always been a part of me, I have sculpted, etched, illustrated and painted… and have worked as a graphic designer for many years. Since 2006 I’m entirely devoted to my own work using primarily acrylics on canvas in a figurative style. I see that the "earth" without "art" is just "eh", so I do my bit... Elizabeth James

I was drawn to photography as a child when I was given my first automatic camera aged 9 years The art form of photographic expression has assisted my journey of self discovery and aspirations. My work often involves taking a closer look, viewing the world from a different perspective, up close and personal. Simplifying, highlighting, showcasing and simply conveying the atmosphere in an instant often missed by the naked eye.

The outcome is a personal exploration of my subject matter. I am always aiming for the point at which form, function and meaning intersect seamlessly. Capturing the visual rhythms in natural flow is a way of gaining a glimpse of our environment we barely notice or have words for but connects us all. I feel my strength, as a photographer is not so much in creating something new, but in bringing to the fore how things are.

Mr Gresty

I'm a designer. My work is mainly based on the English language, multiple meanings and wordplay. It is an interest that started back when I was just 7 or 8. I was baffled when people tried to teach me to read phonetically! "How can you teach phonetics in a school? Maybe a sKool?". Born in the North West of England, I moved South to studied graphic design and illustration. I have set up home in Hackney, the creative heart of London. Where I screen print, design & illustrate books and host exhibitions. Mission Statement. If Anything Can Go Rong It Will.

VJ Von Art

I am not an artist by choice, I am an artist because this was thrust upon me by universe on the day I was born on a studio floor. I do art not because I love it, I do it because it's the only way I can breath, it is the only bridge that connects me to the world and reality. In a way it's my 'life support machine' and a curse at the same time.

Zhenya Dmitriyeva

My way towards the field of digital design lay through the exploration of the physical environment during my architectural studies. This is when I became interested in the relationship we have with digital technology and how it is shaping our lives through us exploring the possibilities it offers. The possibilities seem infinite, which is fascinating and scary at the same time. The glimpse of the unexplored is what keeps me motivated in doing my work. My current work is mainly web oriented design for which I draw on inspiration from multiple sources, such as psychology, visual arts, architecture, sciences and everyday life as I know it.
