Maintenance Planner/

Store Room Assistant Cascades Tissue

Job Purpose:

To assist Cascades buyer/planner in the execution of purchasing materials, parts, labor

and maintaining an industrial store room.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in the AS400 Wise System to plan jobs.

Work in MS Project to plan machine or mill outages.

Maintain the storeroom orderly, clean and stocked.

Monitor Lift Truck Shock Watch program.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED: Have an ingrained respect for safety and the dangers of work in an industrial

environment. Knowledge of common software such as Word, Excel, Project. Have a strong

computer aptitude. Be enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance or similar degree program. Must be

able to follow direction, stay on task and be willing to learn. Needs to be team oriented, with

good social skills and excellent organizational skills.

Working Conditions: Although not all paper mill conditions are the same, the following are

relevant: This candidate would normally work in a temperature controlled environment, but

would occasionally need to go to all locations in the paper mill. Work in high humidity. Work in

elevated temperatures, for short periods. Work outside.

Physical Requirements: This is a physically demanding job. The applicant will spend a portion

of the day on their feet, need to be able to climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50lbs over their head.

Working Schedule: 20-40 hours per week, will work with applicant

Hours per week: 4-8 hours per day, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $8-$10 per hour

Job Duration: Various available, will work with candidate and school to achieve best range.
