For more than twentyfive years, we offer the Splash swimming software range and services. All products are based on the long swimming experience of senior developer Christian Kaufmann. They are used by numerous swimming federations in Europe, Asia and North America.

Splash Meet Manager is a desktop software specialised on the data handling of swim meets. It offers all common functions to create start lists, result lists and other statistic reports (e.g. medal standings, new records).

Intuitive and Customisable

Meet Manager can be operated intuitively. The convenient toolbar, clean menu structure and modular architecture make the whole programme functionality easily accessible without having to previously study extensive user manuals.

The programme is currently available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Slovenian and Icelandic. Toggling between languages is accomplished by one mouse click only. If you want to generate a report in yet another language, there is no need to change the programme language.

All reports are configured, preformatted, and ready to be printed. Paper formats, page margins, number of columns and footer lines can be easily adjusted and custom graphics (e.g. logos) may be included in the printout. Print layouts for various lists, including type and number of columns, are fully adaptable to your requirements.

All data for one meet, including custom settings, are saved in a single file. Consequently, data transfer from one computer to another is quick and straight-forward.

All data stored in the database can be output in various customisable layouts and formats. And if you need to transfer the data of a whole meet to another computer, it is all packed in one single file.

Event Structure

There is a wide range of event structures; Meet Manager can handle them all. It supports all existing official distances and strokes with your choice of separation by age groups. Both A/B/C-final events and events with semifinals/final can be modelled. Moreover, Meet Manager enables the user to define additional disciplines. Combined rankings with up to twelve events, added up based on time or points, are provided as well. All event structures can be exported as SPLASH/Lenex file.

Meet Manager supports all event structures, even the more uncommon or complex ones. Adding user defined disciplines is possible as well as exporting the whole structure to common exchange formats.

Start Lists

Entries can be added manually or merged electronically via SPLASH/Lenex, SDIF and other common data exchange formats. Validation of entry times may be accomplished automatically by using the data from swimrankings.net. Start lists can be modified manually after seeding. Main heats per age group may be represented (fastest swimmers for each age group compete in a separate heat) and additional entries can be directly registered in the start list.

Meet Manager supports various kinds of forms like lists of participants per club, confirmation of entries per club, calculation of time needed for meet, start cards or entry form for relay swimmers. Printing of address labels for participating clubs is implemented as well.

Searching an extensive entry table in Meet Manager is simple. In the lower part of the programme window, the swimmer’s details are shown providing an overview on the events she or he registered for.

No matter if you plan to do it manually or by import interface, Meet Manager assists you in building start lists. Flexible modification of lists, convenient validation functions and the possibility to create various forms and start cards are just some of the features offered by Meet Manager.

Result Lists

Times can be entered either manually or obtained automatically from timing systems. Currently, the following systems are supported: Omega ARES21, OSM-6, OSM-5, ALGE S-4, ALGE Swim2000, ALGE SwimTime, Colorado System 5 and 6, Daktronics 1000/2000), Seiko PT-8000.

Result lists can be printed in one or two columns, with or without split times and with or without relay swimmers. Additional reports include team scores and medal rankings as well as results for press releases. Best performance of the day rankings can even be adapted to different point systems. Additional options include, among others, creating certificates of participation and files for mailmerging.

All results can be exported to SPLASH/Lenex, SDIF or DSV 6 file formats.

Meet Manager integrates both automated interfaces to common timing systems and manual input of results. When it comes to writing out those results, the possibilities are manifold and certainly cater to even the most ambitious clubs and federations.

Records

A new record and nobody realises? Meet Manager supports you in preventing the like of it. Before the meet you import the current records from different file formats. Or even simpler yet, you just download the latest version from swimrankings.net. Current records can be printed in the event headers of start and result lists. During the meet, records are updated automatically and can be highlighted on the result lists. Sound statistics on all new records are at your disposal at any time.

Record management. Each record can be provided with various detail information. Using dropdown menus, the records can be filtered using several attributes (e.g. gender, distance or style) separately or in combination.

Meet Manager delivers a full record management. Import the latest records before, display and update them during the event and highlight them in the result lists.

Calendar

If a federation has a contract for their swim meet calendar it may publish its meets on swimrankings.net using Meet Manager. Just select what you would like to publish (invitation, entries, start list, results) and Meet Manager uploads the data automatically to swimrankings.net. Of course, your calendar page can be customised with your logos and you may even add useful documents to make them available for download. Currently, the calendar is used by the national federations of Portugal and Switzerland. An online example can be found here:
