Taking another step on our journey to build on the heritage of traditional Spanish footwear, the makers of Maians bring you RURAL.

The tradition of RURAL can be traced back to the early 1900´s when these types of boots were used to navigate the terrain of the Pyrenees. Several decades later they have evolved into the trusted work boot of the herders and farmers of the land. With nearly a century of tradition behind them, these succesful designs stand on their own.

We want to make a product of value that we can feel good about.

As with all of our products, RURAL is 100% made in Spain. We do not take any shortcuts in the production process and insist that the materials we use are also produced locally.

We strive to bring sustainability to the local traditional factories and provide our clients with a quality end-product. Our customers can be proud of knowing that they are acquiring a part of Spanish legacy and values.

La RiojaEach style in the RURAL collection bears the name of a village from La Rioja region of Spain. La Rioja is where our boots are manufactured and where Spain produces some of its finest wine.

The men and women who have been collecting grapes and bottling wine in La Rioja have been an integral part of rural tradition for decades...
