the silent amidah & the repetition
•Praising God and a plea for redemption
•One last slikhot during the Amidah
•Many also include the piyut “P’taḥ Lanu” “Open for us [the gates]”
•One last final plea for atonement before God seals the books for the year
Concluding Prayers

•Sh’ma once, “Barukh Sheim” 3 times, “Adonai hu ha’elohim” 7 times => T’kia G’dolah
•Some Maḥzorim have Ma’ariv before, and others after
•Ma’ariv is a normal weekday ma’ariv - the holiday has ended
•Time for a yummy break-fast meal!
