Yearly Yatra – August 13-15, 2010Following is the preliminary plan for the Yatra

• 3 day Yatra will begin on Friday, Aug 13th evening from our Temple

• Return to our Temple on Sunday, Aug 15 by 11:00 PM

• Visit Temples - Washington DC, Baltimore, Cleveland, Toledo

• Plan is to take 2 buses – 100 people

• The cost is estimated around $150 per person ($100 for age 5 to 17)

• Looking for Sponsors – $500 to become one of the Sanghpatis

• Any other amount is also welcome

2. Decide on Echo Park School Property proposal


Echo Park School Property

• Thanks to LRPC Team for evaluating this proposal

• Priority is to maintain and continue our Temple current

and future operations

• Our temple is not fully utilized. There is room for growth.

• Evaluated Financial and Operational needs of acquiring

and sustaining of the new property, along with proposed

projection of the fund raising by LRPC.

• Looked at suggested future use of the new property

• Additional parking lot – A possible low cost alternative at

the Temple house property


Echo Park School Property

• In the best interest of

JSGD, BOT decided

not to pursue Echo

Park School proposal.

• Add parking lot behind Temple House (100+

spaces), with connection to current parking lot

• Expense estimate is about $200K

• General Membership approval will be required as

per the constitution (for Expense > $100K)

of our Society
