MPEACS - Mahatma Phule Energy Audit and Correction Scheme

Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC)• In line with Energy Conservation Act 2001, GoI has notified ECBC Rules. 2018 which is applicable to all

commercial buildings having connected load of 100 kw or above or contract demand or 120 kVA or above• As per GoM draft notification of ECBC rules 2019 ,ECBC are applicable to all commercial building or building

complex or part of building or intended to have commercial use having a connected load of 100 kilowatt (kW) or more or a contract demand of 120 kilovolt ampere (kVA) or more, or 1000 Square The final ECBC rules to be notified

MPBCDC Proposal1. MPBCDC will train /upgrade d skill to do Energy Audit work for ECBC has huge potential work and can provide

employment at least 50 groups of 3/4 persons having academic eligibility per dist , total 2000 groups and lumpsum 750 groups in metropolitan areas of MMR/Pune / Nagpur totaling approx. 10,000 persons having tech qualifications . Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) implementation by SC engg graduates / Diploma /ITI / registered under CMEGP or central /state schemes

2. Supporting EV Charging stations in MMR, Pune and Nagpur for the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) by SC entrepreneurs.

3. Huge quantum of Energy will be saved by ECBC rules /schemes implementation which will ADD revenues to state exchequer as well Energy saving to Energy dept. by way of coal consumption and decarbonization

Fly ash utilization plan – MOEF notification dtd 14.9.2009 as amended dtd 25/1/2016 and

NGT order dtd 12/2/2020 • “(8) It shall be the responsibility of all State Authorities approving various construction projects to ensure

that Memorandum of Understanding or any other arrangement for using fly ash or fly ash-based productsis made between the thermal power plants and the construction agency or contractors. (9) The StateAuthorities shall amend Building Bye Laws of the cities having population One million or more so as toensure the mandatory use of ash-based bricks keeping in view the specifications necessary as pertechnical requirements for load bearing structures.

1. The centre will be Self-substantiable growth centre under Maha PREITv Enrolment of eligible BC start-ups / entrepreneurs will be taken upv Revenue generation projects will be identified based on industry requirement and mandates compliance of

MOEF/ CPCB/MPCBv Empanelment of agencies and companies working in this field will be done through EOI to support the

activities and assignment under the cell on revenue sharing modelv Normative procedures for taking up and allocating the projects and assignments may be codified / decided

to support MPBCDC beneficiaries along with supporting funds requirement2. Scope and work profile :

a) Will take up Environment Audit , study and system improvement works / projects in consultation MPCBand other statutory bodies

b) System Studies and audit works will be supported by MSKC and system improvement works will be assigned/allocated to BC start ups / entrepreneurs

c) Will take up EIA works of FI/BI and PMC like PwC, KPMG,SBI caps and Deloitte.

INFRASTRUCTURE AN URBAN TRANSPORT PROJECTS DIVISION

AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS v MAHAPREIT proposes to explore Affordable Housing sector looking to

huge opportunities for BC entrepreneurs in construction and material supply business

v The Affordable housing division will use New Technologies and standard of LEED, Green Concrete , Climate Change Concerns addressed and advance Building materials from bio waste and solid waste

v Mahapreit will tie up with leading academic institutes abroad as well in India for Tech Support and partnership as well JV with tech and equity partners to fund the projects including CBRI and BMPTC for advance building materials and technologies

v Mahapreit will explore projects of GoM as well MOUHA/central PSU/ NIUA to make available business and revenues to BC enterprisers in various working models


APVC including Biofuel Distillery Unitv Agro Processing Value Chain is vertical created for making available whole gamut of High-End Agriculture Technology
