Revised Admission Notice for First Year B.Sc.

1. Extension of online Admission to First Year B.Sc.

(2020-21) of AGC students i.e. Students passing XIIth std. from

Abasaheb Garware College only

The admission of In-house AGC students (Students passing XIIth std. from

Abasaheb Garware College is extended and link will reopen on 27/07/2020. It will

remain open till 29/07/2020.

AGC students who have not taken admission and wish to secure admission can fill

the form. (Please refer notice dt. July 18, 2020 attached herewith).

The students from AGC who have filled the form between 19/07/2020 and 22/07/2020

and are incomplete, have received a message to complete it and upload. These students

upload the form with required documents in the above mentioned period.

2. On-line Admission to First Year B.Sc. (2020-21) of

NON AGC students i.e. Students passing XIIth std.

from other than Abasaheb Garware College

Non AGC students (Students passing XIIth std. from other than Abasaheb Garware

College) admissions will start when they receive the original marklist from the HSC

board or on 4/08/2020 whichever is earlier.

The criteria for non AGC students admission is minimum marks in XIIth std. 60% for

open category and 55% for reserve category.

Please refer the notice dt. July 18, 2020 attached herewith for detailed admission

process.

The NON AGC students who have filled the form and satisfy above merit criteria

should resubmit the form with XIIth std. mark list, after 4/08/2020 then only they will

be considered for admission.

Admission to First Year B.Sc. (2020-21)

On-line Admission Process (For AGC students only)

The admission for non AGC students will start from 27/07/2020. Notice will be displayed regarding this on

college website on 25/07/2020.

1. For securing the admission to first year, students should fill the online form available on college website

https://garwarecollege.mespune.in as per the dates given in the chart below. SUBMISSION OF ONLINE

FORM DOES NOT SECURE ADMISSION.

2. AGC students will not have claim in admissions after the mentioned dates.

3. Students should create login credentials i.e. username (mail id) and password using Vriddhi on-line

form (Students need these credentials for second and third year admission).

4. Students should fill the complete form and upload the documents in jpg format mentioned in the on-line

form. Considering the pandemic situation students have to submit original School / College Leaving

Certificate along with the required document(s) after the lockdown overs or when the college

demands, as it is essential document for the eligibility. Incomplete form will not be accepted by the

system for the further processing.

5. The documents will be checked on-line by the admission committee.

6. After the verification of the documents admission committee will approve the form. If the correct

documents are not uploaded, form will be sent to student again. To avoid this student should upload the

correct documents.

7. A student will get message about the fee to be paid for the academic year 2020-21. This fee includes the

journal fee along with regular fees. Student should pay full fees on-line through payment gateway on the

dates given to confirm the admission.

8. Fee structure will be different for students from the state of Maharashtra, students from outside

Maharashtra and students from SAARC countries for paying as well as concession holder.

9. Students availing Freeship / Scholarship (SC/ST/NT/OBC/SBC/Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati

Scholarship) / Concession in fees (EBC/STC/PTC/Ex-serviceman) has to pay fee accordingly. To avail

EBC concession, Income Certificate of 2018-19 / 2019-20 is required which is issued by TAHASILDAR

only.

10. All the admissions will be given according to reservation rules and regulations of Government of

Maharashtra and Savitribai Phule Pune University.

11. After securing the admission to F.Y.B.Sc., a separate application form for Microbiology and Industrial

Microbiology should be filled. This admission is on Merit basis and as per the reservation rules.

Separate lists for these subjects will be displayed later. If student gets admission to Industrial

Microbiology, he/she has to pay extra fees along with regular college fees.

12. Please note that Psychology is available only at F.Y.B.Sc. and student has to pay additional fees along

with college fees.

13. Students confirming the admission to either PCBZ or PsyCBZ group can apply to Microbiology and

14. All other subjects are available at T.Y.B.Sc. as a principal subject as per Merit and availability of seats.

15. Allocation of seats:

There are limited number of seats for each subject. The admission will be stopped as soon as all the seats get

filled.
