An International jury will select the best Works among 1400 international productions that will be presented at this event. 138 of those productions are Spanish films, short movies, documentaries and animated films.

“Three centuries of Spanish – Hungarian links” is the title of the history symposium organised by the UNED, the ELTE University, the Embassy of Spain and the Instituto Cervantes of Budapest. Spanish and Hungarian speakers will take part in the event.

“Suspiros” is a Spanish-Hungarian artistic joint production between the flamenco dancer Zsófia Pirók, some Hungarian artists, the Spanish singer María Cristina Soler Gago and the guitar player Juan José Bando Terrero. They will also perform in several places all over Hungary.

“A kezdő tizenegy” címmel hamarosan látható a magyar mozikban a nagysikerű spanyol vígjáték sorozat ötödik része minden idők legkorruptabb ex-zsarujának, Torrente főszereplésével.

“Mission Eurovegas” is the title of the 5th chapter of the blockbuster series which will reach Hungarian cinemas very soon, featuring Torrente, the most lout policeman of all time.

El “caballero de la triste figura” es un personaje de mucha actualidad, afirma el director del Teatro Nacional de Hungría, Attila Vidnyánszky, quien ha puesto en escena la obra maestra de Cervantes interpretada por un elenco de los más reconocidos actores húngaros.

A Nemzeti Színház igazgatója, Vidnyánszky Attila szerint, a “búsképű lovag” nagyon mai figura. Cervantes remekműve a legismertebb magyar színművészek közreműködésével kerül színre.

Known as “The Knight of the Sad Countenance”, according to the President of the Hungarian National Theatre Attila Vidnyánszky, the person who has made possible to stage the Cervantes’ master piece, Don Quixote is very much a today’s character.
