Day 1: Arrival to Delhi.

Overnight stay.

Day 2: Today Morning sightseeing of the city. A

visit to the “Red Fort” which was built by the

Mughal Emperor “Shah Jahan” in 1648 as the

palace of his fortified capital “Shahjahnabad”. It

is located in the centre of Delhi and houses a

number of museums. It is built by red

sandstones. Humayus Tomb, Qutub Minar,

Fateh Burj, and Purana Quila all are having the

beautiful architecture.

Day 3: Depart to Agra, for 210 kilometres.

Today morning after taking some breakfast,

start to take a visit of the city.

First of all start with world famous “Taj Mahal”

built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the

memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. . It

incorporates and design with Persian and

Mughal architecture. Then its sister monuments

Agra Fort, Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, Jama

Masjid, are also beautifully carved which

magnetize you towards itself.

Day 4: Depart to Gwalior for 119.4 kilometres.

Gwalior is a synonymous with its fort, one of

the oldest forts in the country, “Gwalior Fort”.

There are several palaces which were built

during the several reigns like Man Mandir

Palace, Gujari Mahal Museum, Tomb of Tansen

(one of the nine gems of Akbar), Samadhi of

Rani Lakhshami Bai are also depicted a history

of the town.

Depart to Bhopal for 429 kilometres by road.

Day 5: Bhopal

After taking some rest and breakfast in the let’s go for

sightseeing. The city is known as “City of Lakes”, thus it

has two tier lakes, lower lake and upper lake also called

Chhota Talab and Bada Talab. There is a museum named

as “Bharat Bhawan”, which include an art, gallery

Roopanker a fine art gallery of contemporary folk and

tribal art, and a modern art gallery, Graphic art Work Shop

and Ceramics art workshop. A theatrical repertory –

Rangmandal, a library of Indian poetry, translations –

Vegarth, Anhad - a librabry of Classical and Folk music,

audio and video archives. Besides it there is a mosque,

which is the largest mosque in the country Taj –Ul-Masjid.

Day 6: Sanchi is a serene hill crowned by a group of stupas,

temples and pillars. Its expressive monuments stretch from

the 3rd century to the 12th century AD and are

embellished with the forms and symbols of Buddhist

teachings.

There are the two great monuments of history, one of

which is “Great Stupa” at Sanchi, which was originally

commissioned by “Ashoka The Great”.

“Bhimbetka rock shelters” are 45 km south of Bhopal at

the southern edge of Vindhya hills. South of these rock

shelters is successive ranges of the Satpura hills. These

depict the life of prehistoric man, who in his resting hours,

filled the surface of rocks with his paintings, generation

after generation, tribe after tribe. Bhimbetka is a close

encounter with the Stone Age.
