On behalf of our team at Magness Land and Cattle, I would like to invite you to our 2014 Fall Production Sale. The sale will feature production females in the prime of their productive life, and the open heifers and bull calves at their side that reflect the best in Limousin and Lim-Flex genetics.

The beef cattle industry in the United States continues to enjoy the highest prices that any of us have ever seen and all signs point to a continuation of this market strength. At the same time, the demand for outcross genetics within the commercial herds continues to grow and this has been reflected by the strong demand we have seen for commercial bulls.

Magness Land and Cattle has made a significant commitment to the Limousin breed since 1981 and continues to strive to produce the best in Limousin and Lim-Flex genetics. To this end, the cattle in this offering have complete performance data including ultrasound measurements and all EPDs published by the North American Limousin Foundation.

Our focus continues to be on the production of attractive, sound structured cattle with a strong genetic profile that fit the needs of our customers, whether they be commercial cattlemen or seedstock producers. This summer, E. Roen Ranches from California topped the Superior Livestock Video Auction in Winnemucca, Nevada with 543 steers weighing 790 pounds selling for $250.50 per cwt. which set a record price for that sale. These steers were all sired by Magness Lim-Flex bulls as were their mothers.
