Masthead & Selling Line

The logo for the magazine takes up the top left of the magazine front cover making it easily recognizable to the regular readers.

The headline of the magazine is the news of Liam Gallagher new band kick off the colour of the font for this headline is also the same colour as the logo to help show the importance of the story.

Main Image

The only image on the front page is of Liam Gallagher who used to be in oasis, They use this image not only to attract fans of his new band but also old fans of oasis.

This issue of the magazine was released around the time of BEADY EYE forming.

Cover Lines & Main Sells

The cover lines like any magazine have to attract the right target audience by grabbing there attention usually with short headline related to the type of music they will like.

A main selling point of this magazine would be the quote by Liam “Noel was a tit I’m very happy” which grabs a readers attention and they will want to buy the magazine to see the whole article.

All of the cover lines are spread around the image on the page.

Comparisons

This magazine is different because the logo spreads all across the top of the magazine and also has names of artists featured in this months magazine above logo. It also feature a large picture of Megan Fox.

The appearance differs from Q magazine as all the cover lines and main sells are on one side of the page.

The story's are also different as they do not just focus on artists but also actors.
