Page 1: Magazine Contents Page Design Stages

Magazine Contents Page

Stage OneI used the same colour design as the front cover – cream – and added a white column on the right (planning on making an “editor’s note” column) with a blue square to mark where a picture would be placed.

Stage TwoI added the picture of myself onto the space where the blue box was and then added the word “CONTENTS” at the top of the cream, the colour was the same as the white column so it looks as if it blends in.

Stage ThreeI wrote the “editor’s note” column and added the words “editor’s note” and my own name in a handwriting font.

Stage FourI added my three photographs to the contents page in a random order. I cut away the background on two of the pictures so they stand out more.

Page 3: Magazine Contents Page Design Stages

Stage FiveI added the page numbers and a brief description of each picture underneath as an overview of what the full page would be like.

Stage SixFor final effect I added some pull quotes next the picture to try and attract the reader even more.
