The artist is lined up to one of the vertical lines which I think is effective as it looks more natural that being exactly in the middle

The artist’s name is lined up to the other line

‘Out now’ is along a horizontal line as this is important information

The terminal area holds included songs and the website, so that readers will be intrigued and more likely to check out the website after reading as this is most likely the last place they will look

The line of sight means that readers see the artist first, then the artist’s name, and then the album’s name. I think that this is a good choice as it allows the reader to put a name to the face, making him more recognisable

The title of the CD is in line with one of the horizontal lines; this, combined with the vibrant red against the grey background, is effective as it’s eye catching

The artist is lined up to one of the vertical lines

The terminal area holds the release date and the location that you could buy the album

The line of sight means that a reader will see the title’s name and then the artist’s face; this, like the Olly Murs advert, allows the name to be put with a face, making it n=more recognisable

The album cover is in the corner of the line of sight, this will catch the attention of the readers.

The entire band is in line with the line of sight which is effective as it means that they are the first things that a reader will see when reading the advert

The name of the band is also on one of the horizontal lines, in the rule of thirds

Although it is more common to see the album cover in the terminal area, it is also commonly seen here as it is still on the corner of the line of sight.

The name of the album, the date and ‘New Album’ are in line with the vertical line of the rule of thirds’ line
